To all of you have absolutely need to have every single model of iPhone. Why do you do something with your life.

We actually all decided at the last Piss off Schmitty meeting that we would continue to purchase every new iPhone at launch because it upsets you so.

All the more reason why I wonder if many of these aren't 'controlled leaks' or 'teasers' maybe, with Apple deciding what gets leaked, and what stays under wraps.

So Apple was able to keep the option of getting a larger display with the 5S under wraps? Because I can't think of anything significant that wasn't leaked this time around (fingerprint scanner, gold/champagne option, dual LED flash, 128GB, A7, etc.).

I wonder why everything seems to have leaked about the 5S except the home button/fingerprint sensor. Any thoughts?
What do you mean, except? What more fotos do you need?

Next year they'll completely redesign the entire phone with no home button and edge to edge screen (4.3"? 4.5"?). It will be super sleek and sexy. It will be heavily gesture based. Talking out of my ass here :p
Smells like teen spirit. The home button has a purpose. How do you shutdown an unresponsive full-screen app without a physical button? You could only reboot the whole phone with the power button. Now that it doubles as a fingerprint sensor, the home button is here to stay.

My comment was in reply to Abobrek's observation that in spite of the many rumors about that home button/fingerprint sensor's supposed introduction on the 5S, so far, there have been very few sharp, close-up pictures of it actually circulating on rumor sites.

Now if that larger screen you mockingly referred to, materialized in 11 days, that would be a real shocker.

My wife is a supervisor at a T-Mobile call center, and she has heard nothing about a vacation blackout.

On a tangent, it's not unusual or unreasonable for a company to limit vacation if they expect a high volume of business. Vacation time is a benefit, not a right guaranteed by any labor law. I worked for a newspaper for years and always had to work either Thanksgiving or Christmas. People would say, "You don't even get the holidays off?" I'd reply, "Well, you expect a paper 365 days, so that's on you."
