Forgot to mention what I'm pre-ordering tonight! A space grey 128 GB 6s Plus for me and a silver 64 GB 6s for my wife.

I'm stoked!

Hey guys, I'm planning to buy an iPhone 6S in rose gold at midnight. Too bad the phone won't be for me, I'm paying back my friend who waited to buy me an iPhone 6 Plus last year haha. Will the T-Mobile variant be available through Apple? Thanks in advance!

Sorry for confusion but will the t mobile one be unlocked to use with at&T?

Aside from potentially getting in the virtual line behind TONS of people preordering tonight via phone, is there any disadvantage to preordering in store tomorrow? I have jump (with a paid off EIP), which makes me "ineligible" for a jump upgrade. I'm going to switch to JOD, which may make the store a better option.

tl;dr- Will preordering JOD in store tomorrow morning totally screw me over?

So let's start the predictions on how long we'll be on hold tonight! I'm hoping it's 20 mins or less. My biggest fear though is my AT&T microcell dropping my call after I've been on hold for awhile. It tends to drop calls every now and then. o_O

Well technically not. If you are a JUMP! customer, you will be queue'd ahead of most order if you place your order within 48hrs of the presale time. But the more JUMP! or JOD customers pre-order ahead of you, the farther back in queue you will be placed

I'm hoping it's less than 30 mins, I'd even wait an hour. That's it though.

so since i will be doing a 2nd EIP on my jump eligible line, would i be at the front-isa of the line or would it consider me as a non-jump customer?

would i?
but i would have two EIPS.. 1 with a remaining amount on EIP, this would be a 2nd EIP (not jump)

I think jump on demand is perfect for someone like me who likes to get the new iPhone every year. I did the promo this summer where I got a 6+, gave my wife the 6, and traded in a palm pre to get their promo pricing of 19 a month for the plus. I'm excited now to flip the 6+ to a 6s+, which btw sounds ridiculous when you say it aloud. ;)

You had a PALM PRE!!?!!!!

Man I remember that phone. Still,to,this day that's the only phone I loved as much if not more than any of my iPhone's

Since people are mentioning what they're getting; I'm getting the 6s+ Rose Gold 64GB. Ordering/signing up for Jump On demand for this order as well. Originally used to just buy them full price thru EIP but switching it up.

The T-Mobile variant is the unlocked one and I believe the Verizon one is unlocked as well, according to people.

I can confirm that the Verizon variants are unlocked. We sell them all the time at Best Buy

I'm just hoping that tonight's pre-orders are not a complete eff-up like last year

Hopefully it goes smoother than last year. anyone remember the shipping fiasco? some people got the phone shipped to them on release day even though some like me ordered way earlier than them. there was no structure. i pre order and pay for next day shipping specifically to get the phone delivered to my house on release day.

after checking tracking one last time in the morning on release day and confirming the phone wouldn't get to me on that day, I walked into my local tmobile store and got my 128 gb space grey 6. you would think my story had a happy ending cause I got the phone on release day like I wanted but canceling my original pre order was a nightmare AND when I went to get the phone in store the employee who sold it to me forced me to buy an accessory over $50 "or else he couldn't sell me the iPhone 6". I calmly bought the accessory even though I knew it was complete BS and raised a **** storm at Tmobile corporate. worked out for me in the end because I got the free accessory and some account credit, but this year I'd rather just get my phone delivered to my front door on the day it comes out without any bs.

So I actually paid off my phone earlier today. Does that mean that when I upgrade I WONT be upgrading through Jump! Even though I'm a Jump customer? What I really wanted was to become a JOD customer when I called in tonight to preorder. I want to make SURE I get priority when I preorder

I had the same story, ordered early, and my phone didn't even send me a shipping date, so I went to the store and settled for a regular 6 not the plus. A few hours later (after canceling my pre order) I got a tracking number for my 6+ within the same day... I was so mad lol

that sucks! i ordered at 1pm and knew i wasn't going to get it on release day, but then i got all the BS emails and text so i got my hopes up. After number of calls, emails, and credits i ended up getting the phone 5-6 weeks after.. got a bill credit, down payment taken care off

Wait, you can choose the shipping method? This makes things interesting. How much did next day shipping cost you?

oh guys, you had it easy! I preordered and I had to go thru 4 orders to get the phone that I wanted. 4 orders!! And still got my phone on the end of October.... Not a good experience. Hopefully this year we'll get it within a reasonable time. Today I talked to a Executive Response Team rep and he told me that they wont even ship phone to stores until the first 48hrs pre-orders were fulfilled/shipped.
