I received a message on Saturday that my monthly Jump on Demand bill will now be $20 instead of the $15 I am currently paying for the iphone 6. I was told, when I signed up for Jump on Demand a month ago that, if I order the same model type, it would be the same price.
I called T-mobile, and they said since it is a newer phone, the price has increased to $20.00. I stated, yes, it is a newer phone, but the price of the phone is the same $649.00, why is the phone monthly fee changing. Her reply, read the contract you signed.
Apparently when you use Jump on Demand you will not pay upfront any fees, but your monthly fee will go up. I traded in my iphone 6 plus 64gb, and they applied $216 to get my monthly payment to $15 instead of $27. As you go forward and change phones, these numbers change and your monthly payment will go up. I think T-mobile, realized this deal is too good, and they can afford to increase it, since the competition is still higher.
T-mobile keeps changing their plans as they go. Beware of the fine print...
