Our local stores had 128GB 6 and 6+ in stock last year, but I doubt that very many (if any) would have RG 128GB in stock this year.
I was gonna say that as well. Both stores in my area had both the 6 and the 6+ in all 3 sizes in stock the entire weekend of release.

Also just got my shipping info updated! UPS is gonna deliver it tomorrow before 3PM!!! YAY

Do you understand what APPROXIMATE TIME means? Absolutely NOTHING ON IPHONE LAUNCH DAY.

Have you ever made a doctor's appt. for 11:00 am, but the doctor is running behind because he's busy or he got there late and they don't wind up putting you into an office room until 1:30 pm.

THATS WHAT'S HAPPENING TODAY!

IGNORE ALL APPROXIMATE TIMES. They calculate those by route but it never works on iPhone launch day because it's unpredictable.

When did your Tmo order status update...how many hours/days after you ordered were you notified of shipping?

Thanks!

Let's see if I remember properly: EIP received while on phone placing order, payment immediately processed with bank, received order confirmation text immediately, T-Mobile order (thru My T-Mobile) showed processing immediately (as far as I can tell). Early Wednesday morning (about 7A), status changed on My T-Mobile to shipped, with tracking number. I got a shipping text at about 8:30A.

Last year I did the stay up all night thing trying to preorder and it was a disaster. I ultimately didn't get my order placed until about 7P on that first day, and it took a week to get the phone. Which isn't really bad, but the ordering process was really terrible. T-Mobile did do whatever it took to try and work with customers, so I have to give them respect for that. But, I decided not to try that again and was prepared to have to wait for weeks for a phone. So, I was surprised that it was so easy to place the order and that I still get it on launch day. I'm sure that not ordering the RG phone also has something to do with it.

We're new to Tmo... Unable to create new My Tmo account login yet. Will Tmo email the update, or should we keep visiting Order Status page w/ Order number, etc.?

They can't. From UPS Site: Next Day Air Saver from 8:00 am up till 3 pm or 4:30 pm in some areas. However from past iPhone releases that really means nothing as they have delivered as late as 8:30-9:00.

You're saying they can't even though they've posted screenshots that clearly show times?

My experience with that order status page is that it can be unreliable, which is why i use the My T-Mobile page. However, it appears that it may be working a little better this year, so I'd say to keep using that in the interim. Also, keep trying to check by reference on the UPS site because they may get your package before anything updates on the T-Mobile site. But, you won't get any email updates, unless you're on JUMP On Demand, in which case, they will send an updated JOD agreement once your phone has been shipped.
