Just wanted to chime in that I had the toughest time returning my iPhone 6 that was required as part of the JoD trade-up promo. Right after I received my 6s from UPS on Friday, I received a text message as well as an email telling me not to forget to go to the nearest T-Mobile store to return the 6. It stated to NOT mail it back, "even if you receive a shipping label."

I went to two different T-Mobile retail stores (actual company-owned stores), one last night and one this morning. First one just could not figure out how to get the transaction done. The 2nd one this morning took an HOUR with three phone calls to higher ups. The store manager had to create a phantom order of a new phone for me, and accepted the iPhone 6 trade-in as part of that order. I triple checked online and multiple calls to customer care. They say all is good, so we'll see... Anyone else having issues with the trade in?

This is exactly what happened when I went to two stores. The first store couldn't do the trade-in. The associate called customer care and got a someone who kept insisting that I ship the phone back. I eventually gave up and tried a different store a few hours later on a whim. This time the person on the phone was able to "fix" this by placing an order for a dummy iPhone 6 128GB for $0 and accepted the trade-in for that. I just hope that this lease for the dummy phone doesn't mess up my $12 Amped JoD and free storage upgrade billing credits for the current lease.

Ordered my 6S Plus at a T-Mobile store this morning. Reps told me no stores in Las Vegas have received any 6 Plus units at all. Thankfully they said my choice (space gray 128GB) was in stock and I would probably receive it Tuesday. Did a deferred trade in of my silver 64GB 6 Plus.

Does anyone have experience with a deferred trade in? Do I just send the device to them once the new one arrives? I'm assuming the new device will come with a prepaid mailer for it?

Walking my dog, she saw another dog and took off, dragging me. The phone slipped out of my pocket and cracked on the sidewalk
Aww crap where I live it's fairly inexpensive to get it fixed like $100 bucks but who has that kind of money to shell out. Crap crap crap

Yup had the same experience with 3 out of 4 of my iPhones. I hope it all works out in the end, but I guess we won't know for sure until we get our next bill

I am a new with tmobile. Can anyone tell me how does jump or jump on demand program works? is it worth it? by doing all the calculations? i don't want to look at what the tmobile website tells me. i want to know from their customers if it is usefull and worth it.

Did anyone's phone come shipped with the plastic wrap on the box? Mine wasn't wrapped in plastic.

Both the 6S & 6S phones I received on launch day via pre-order JoD were shrink wrapped. Weird that your's wasn't. In any case, if it's under warranty I wouldn't sweat it too much. Just get an Apple store to check it out.

It's new to them. Normally you HAVE to mail the phone back. There's never been an instance where you could bring it back, so most reps have no idea. I work for Tmo and a lot of reps just don't learn any new tricks. They get certain rules stuck in their head and don't adjust well when new ones come out. You just have to get that one informed rep to do things. Even when I need to get things done on my employee account, I can't do them myself. So I have to go to a store where I know everyone and walk them through things half the time

I have JUMP and it is grandfather (no longer offered) they now have JUMP! On Demand which is new since July I believe. What I've heard and read is that you get to upgrade three times a year. You pay nothing down, no upgrade fee, no tax nothing. Ummm now the break down is he tricky part to me I was told you pay like 40ish a monthly for the JUMP plan, Phone and Insurance. But if I'm wrong someone be so kind to break it all down. My Jump is Simple to me I pay $10 a month for Jump which includes my insurance or PHP. My device since I have the 64gb iPhone 6 Plus was 99.99 down plus tax which came to 170 and some change upfront. Monthly it's 31.25. So that's 31.25+ 10.00 added to my bill.

I try to get straight to the point. Jump on demand seems pretty cool I like it and to put the cherry on top the subscribers got the ability to upgrade to a higher storage capacity for no extra fee.

I jumped from AT&T to T-mobile. Ordered my iPhone 6Plus S 64gb with jod plan. Received it within 3 days of ordering. I was told it was on back order but it's the fastest I have ever received a new iPhone order.

Now to attempt the deferred return of my 6 plus. I have a return label. However, confused on if I should mail it or go into a store.

I prefer my JUMP as it's simply easy to understand too. I won't move to JoD as it didn't seem profitable if you buy phones and then sell them as I do. I sometimes can upgrade multiple times in a year. I put a lot down initially so when I sell the device, some funds pay off the rest of the phone, some goes into my pocket for the next device!

It also didn't come with insurance built into it, so I'd still be making it more complicated. I have to have insurance. I'm not the type to break phones. I'm more concerned with theft/loss.
