Order status has been stuck on 'Awaiting more inventory' for the past two days :(

But besides that, I'm switching from Sprint's unlimited data plan to T-Mobile's 5GB plan and I've been wondering if I made the right choice?

I use about 7GB per month, but I feel like Music Freedom should reduce the amount of data usage I use dramatically.

Has music freedom significantly reduced any of you guys' data usage??
 
Cancelled our order through T-Mobile and picked the phones up at the Apple Store with the iPhone Upgrade Program. I also switched my Space Gray to Rose Gold. It's so sick! So now no worrying about ship times and having to turn my phone back into T-Mobile in the future.
I'd have done this myself if T-Mobile reps hadn't offered to take such good care of me after wasting my time with so many calls and screwed up orders! All in all I got more than I felt I deserved (well, the credits are supposedly coming. We will see!)

I was using about 7 gb on ATT. I have used 1.5 each month with TMO. You can say that's a drastic drop :)

I just use less on T-Mobile altogether. Someway they count data, it seems more conservative than ATT. I know there is no science or logic to it, but the data use adds up slow on T-Mobile.

This. You know what they say about hindsight? If I had known then what I know now, this is what I'd done. Next Year.

Yesterday mines turned off by it self i couldnt do anything the screen was black but i knew the phone was on since i kept hearing siri try n talk to me.
It was really bad!!
i was able to turn it back by holding the power off button and the home button.

they really need to fix these issues but now idk if its the software or my phone because as i am seeing online alot of ppl are reporting these issues.
 
For iOS updates and new phones restored from backups, you should always do a "Reset Network Settings" after the restore is complete. Will save you a ton of grief with weird things happening. You'll have to re-join WiFi networks, mild inconvenience.

Ordered my 6s+ 64GB Gold on 9/28. T-Mobile's order status at this very moment still says "Awaiting more Inventory. Expected Shipping between 10/06 - 10/13"

However, I noticed that T-Mobile finally charged me for the phone today, so I checked the reference on UPS, AND MY PHONE WILL BE DELIVERED TO MY HOUSE TODAY!

So excited!

I was expecting at least another week in waiting...

It honestly seems like their shipping estimates are calculated on a 'worst case scenario' basis. Many people have experienced earlier shipping times. (Myself included) It's actually best to just go on UPS Tracking and click Track by Reference and type in your phone number. (with no dashes)

That is so weird. I haven't experienced any kind of problem, lag, heat or otherwise on the phone. Absolutely no problems. Battery has been great. Just getting use to the bigger screen. Sucks others are having issues. Hope mind doesn't start having!

This just happened to me after a call. And now i cant send a text message because there is a grey line covering the space where you type. Annoying!!

I'm not sure how T-Mobile's text notification system is set up, but don't wait around for a shipping notification text from them. Either sign up for UPS MyChoice and setup notifications for any shipments to your home through them, or just continue checking their site. I had ordered my phone on a Tuesday, checked my MyTmobile account on Wednesday morning and saw that the status had changed to shipped with the link to the tracking number. I did receive a shipping text from T-Mobile later on Wednesday, but I already knew by then. However, others don't get the text notifications until after the phone has already been shipped or delivered. Good luck!

I haven't either. I hope Apple figures out the issue sometime soon.

Oh Thanks. But it shouldn't be like that. Apple still needs to fix it. :)

You're absolutely correct, that is some type of bug that Apple needs to fix. I've only had it happen to me once, and I found this easier fix to correct it. It hasn't happened again, so I'm not sure if it was fixed in 9.0.2 or if I just haven't had it happen again (yet ).
