Is the pictur in the article a hint of something miniLED? Because I can see the blooming effect.

Nice, but not worth giving up my Simple Choice plan. I'd spend more than I'd save.
LOL do you honestly think T-mo is expecting people to upgrade their plan just to get AppleTV+ for 1 year when it will most likely cost them far less to pay for AppleTV+ monthly out of pocket? It's perhaps targeted for new customers or people who were already planning to upgrade their plan. The ATV+ would just be the extra perk that gives the customer more a reason to choose the required plan.

My T-Mobile account information was breached for the third or 4th time and I’ve been a customer for 10 years, but I didn't get this offer. All I got was a 2 year free McAfee identity theft protection plan that probably isn't worth a wooden nickel! Not that it really matters. I got 15 months free Apple TV+ service and seldom found anything worth watching thereon. At any rate, though T-Mobile sucks in many ways, they suck much less and or definitely less sleazy than AT&T and Verizon, so I’ll stick with T-Mobile.

Maybe T-Mobile should change their advertising to say, "Switch to T-Mobile, we suck much less than those other two sleaze-balls"!
Check out their website for more info. It doesn't begin until 08/25.

Once the iPhone 13 comes out, I'm moving over to VZ.

Was thinking it before this data breach! Just confirms to move over.

Don’t fool yourself into thinking you’re “safe” anywhere.

Everyone has been breached, or will get breached (again). ATT got hit for 70M customers data before the weekend. Verizon has been breached before.

Freeze your credit. Monitor your statements and accounts. Don’t reuse passwords.

Now if Big Red makes more sense as your carrier for your individual situation go for it. Just don’t pretend any of them won’t fk up and reveal your info.

Yeah, even Apple could fk up someday so the best is to be as prepared as possible for it by taking every possible mitigation measure available.

How about a free year of identity protection service now that all of their customers have to be worried about who has their SSNs and driver's licenses?
Chill.... T-mobile isn't and won't be the first targeted by hackers. They have offered 2 years of ID protection to those affected.

Verizon is a vile company and they have had as many security breaches as T-Mobile, if not more. This story is a repudiation of the state of security in corporations across all industries. T-Mobile is not an outlier.

While Apple would be the first to admit that's possible, I think it's noteworthy that we haven't seen any security breaches (that I can think of) at Apple as we've seen in virtually every other large and medium-sized corporation and government agency, including the Pentagon and the CIA.

And for the low-information trolls out there who are about to reply by citing the celebrity nude photos that leaked years ago on iCloud, a reminder that this was NOT an exploit of Apple's servers, but the result of social engineering coupled with the fact that the celebrities used idiotically simple and easy to guess passcodes which they re-used across multiple services.

Yeah, I guess year$ of loyalty doesn’t count with T-Mo. Anyway, I’m good until Oct. 2022 thanks to the PS5 6-month trial.
i get some perks that i'm grandfathered in, much better than apple tv+, and we have that anyway from my wive's iphone that she recently got. t-mo are the best with perks. can't say that about their service, or now — security, but the perks are great! :)))

Redeemed the offer. I am set until November 22. Very quick and easy. No Apple ID credentials were stored on T-Mobile. :D Once your phone number is confirmed, you are automatically sent to Apple TV to input your credentials and redeem the offer.

How’d you find it? I’m a Magenta customer, but the T-Mobile page says it’s “coming soon”.

Isn't McAfee's Identify Theft Protection powered by LifeLock, the company that started advertising about it years ago?
