It was scheduled to be activated yesterday, anyone tried it yet? And are the higher data numbers showing up yet? My phone is still saying 3 gigs instead of six.
I think you need to move to the newer plans.

Although I have been a T-Mobile customer since 1997, and although this would appear to be a good deal, the wording seems to contradict what this really is.
Simple Choice − Now with double the data
With this explosion in data usage, a few gigs is just not enough anymore. So, in the biggest update ever to the company’s wildly popular Simple Choice plan, T-Mobile is giving families and businesses what they want most by doubling their high-speed 4G LTE data when everyone gets extra data. [https://newsroom.t-mobile.com/media-kits/un-carrier-x.htm]
My Simple Choice plan includes 2 lines with zero data - for a member who uses no data but needs an emergency phone, 2 lines with 1 GB and 2 lines with 3 GB. These amounts / limits have not changed since this was announced more than a week ago.

To require everyone to get extra data is counterproductive. It's also greedy on the part of T-Mobile - or just plain poor business if it requires customers to have to contact customer service to get the increased data.

So you all realize that T-Mobile basically has to 'spy on you' to know when you are watching a streaming video to trigger that data to be free.

And everyone here is OK with their privacy being completely invaded by T-Mobile???????
Everyone here uses Google search and services anyways, so they've already (tacitly) agreed to be spied on.

Which search do you use then?
DuckDuckGo.com is the non-spying/non-tracking option.

Doesn't matter what search engine you use… they all end up yielding the same results. Some are just slightly faster, others a bit less cluttered, another a little prettier, etc. For the typical search, if I just wanted to find the nearest Starbucks near me, every single Search engine is capable of giving me the desired result.

I travel from Central Jersey up the Turnpike to NYC 5x a week and get super fast LTE on my T-Mobile network. Don't even go there telling me you get EDGE around here. That's a flat out LIE.
Is. Your. Phone. Even. On?

On the NJ Turnpike? Good for you. I'm talking about driving to Ringwood, NJ, and on some other parts of RT 208, that are not main roads like the NJ Turnpike. So give me a break.
