This might've been true a few years ago but I have T-Mobile in western MA and the service is fantastic.
So come travel from NJ to NYC and enjoy the Edge service along the way.

Every carrier will have areas like that. I can only get edge on Verizon and AT&T at my house. Only T-Mobile can get me 60Mbps LTE here.So come travel from NJ to NYC and enjoy the Edge service along the way.
Damnit, I live in northern NJ also and wanted to switch from AT&T....and then I saw your post. What town are you in? I'm in Montville and I have solid service on AT&T.
Yes, it works for tethering plus they also just doubled your hotspot limit from 7GB to 14GB.
Sounds good but this raises serious questions about net neutrality. Also wonder what type of effect this will have on network congestion.
How about prepaid plans. Double the data for those too?
I doubt it, but just a guess.
That is what I want to know.
I can already tell you No on that one. Same as the Music plan.
this HTML class. Value is Good for you, but foEvery carrier will have areas like that. I can only get edge on Verizon and AT&T at my house. Only T-Mobile can get me 60Mbps LTE here.

That's weird, because I stream from iTunes all the time.Because iTunes is not a video streaming service.

A year ago I got an iPhone 5s for a test drive. The speeds were great in my area and coverage in my office building was great. I signed on and then in April brought the wife and two kids over when their Sprint contract ended. My wife joked that T-Mobile was the Walmart of cell companies. Service for all four of us has been great. Now I kid her about the Walmart reference and she tries to deny it.
There's no increase in price, yet. But I've been burnt by wireless providers plenty of times to not trust them. (I sure hope T-Mo will be different.) My problem is with them prioritizing *any* data over others. Now they have control over the services you use. They support Netflix. What if I wanted Amazon Prime Video, but amazon was unwilling to 'partner' with them? Too bad for us, because it's not part of their plan. I'm not a fan of giving some data a free ride and other none.
Gotta love the Big 3 that we gotWow, here in Canada my plan costs nearly that and includes only half a GB. I wish T-Mobile would come up here.
there are 24 current partners, and the program is open to any video streaming product that wants to participate.

Because **** net neutrality!
Binge On is included in Prepaid plans, see attachment from TMos website
In every thread, whenever T-Mobile does something like this, there are people that post stuff like this. Good luck!
What people fail to realize is, THEY HAVE to do stuff like this to get customers. T-Mobile service is terrible anywhere that matters, for the most part. I doubt T-Mobil will ever have a network that could go head to head with the big 2.
They're watching T-Mobile and laughing because of what they have to do in order to get more customers. Verizon and AT&T have nothing to worry about and won't change anything because of this. It sucks but that's how it works when your one of the two largest, best networks in the US.

I wasn't talking about the doubled data.what? They doubled your data plans without requiring you sign new terms or anything. Use that extra data to visit whatever service you wish. This is horrible?
FYI - I am in NNJ as well and drive around all over this area (JC/Hoboken/Paramus/Montclair/Edgewater/Newark etc) and always am on LTE.
