Wow, this post is just dripping with preconceived notions. Are you looking at the same map I am? I see dozens of dots across the entire country. You're not looking at the red circles are you? Those are places where band 12 can't be deployed due to interference from broadcast TV stations on a neighboring frequency. Each purple or pink dot is a CITY where T-mobile has either announced coverage is live, or it has been observed. In other words those aren't single towers, each one could represent hundreds or thousands of towers. If you look at Houston there's just one dot for the city, even though it's available throughout the area. Also, keep in mind that band 12 isn't the only band T-Mobile is using. It's supplementing their previously existing coverage.Oh boy, that's like 6 locations in the whole US that shows band12 spectrum available.
Damn, hate to say it but Tmobile coverage is a joke compared to the big 2.
I drove from Houston to Denver and back recently, going through the Texas panhandle and northeast New Mexico. I was without HSPA+/LTE for maybe 15 minutes out of 16 hours of driving. I'd call that pretty good, since these were parts of Texas that probably have more cows than people.
