Hey it is middle October. Shouldn't we have a specific Apple TV release date by now? How about some pre-order period so I can get it on launch day?

It's not the middle of October. The "middle" will be the 15th. That being said, I really just wish everything was ready (apps, siri, dev apps, etc.), so I can have my new apple TV already. I've held out with my 2nd Gen Apple TV and I'm about to sell it before I get the new one. I'm also a little annoyed because I asked for the new Apple TV as my one and only B Day gift.

My B Day was in September...

It's all about perspective.

When talking about my age, I consider 20-23 to be "early 20s", 24-27 to be "middle 20s", and 28-29 is "late 20s." This way, I seem younger for longer. The same applies to each decade.

When talking about Apple releases in a month, I consider 1-10 to be "early" October, 10-20 to be "middle" October, and 21-31 to be "late" October. The same applies to each month.

When talking about Beer pours, I consider totally to the brim and practically spilling over to be "full," anything less than totally full to the brim and practically spilling over to be "almost done and I'll have another," and when there is less than an inch left in the glass to be "where the hell is the waiter?!?!"

Perspective :-D

It's not that deep for it to even be debate tho lol. What are you most excited for on the new Apple TV?

Yea :)

1. The fresh UI
2. The possibility of a Tablo App
3. The possibility of a Comedy Central App

You?

For me,

1. App Store on the TV (Also the new UI)

2. Possibility for Push Notifications on Apple TV (Maybe Handoff)

3. 1080p resolution lol (My 2nd Gen only had 720p)

4. Siri (Siri will get better over time, since they recently acquired that one company. Love the automatic subtites option when you ask Siri "What did they say?")

5. Home Automation (The Apple TV could be a hub for smart devices eventually. I might purchase some Smart Bulbs down the road lol)

That's cool about the Tablo app too. I hope they make one so it can pave the way for other internet tv options. (Besides Apple's own thing in 2016)

I really hope that have a Comedy Central app as well. I love watching Broad City, Key & Peele, and Workaholics. (I'm in College so forgive my tastes lol)

Dunno 'bout you but I accept belated gifts. ;)

I wouldn't put any stock into what dates other websites have. Just wait for Apple to say something officially.
