Same reason Dracula on TV isn't Dracula in real life. Same reason the X-Files don't actually exist. Can they? Maybe... Do they? No.

Would someone pay someone millions just to be a sweet cute girl that seems "down to earth" and "approachable"? There are millions of girls like that. This one just has a better image consultant that gives young girls someone to be like and enough sexual appeal for the adults.

As for her annoying stuck in your head songs, there are millions of those on youtube. I no longer believe the ones that make the most money are more talented. They just have better marketing skills (see point above).

So Swift isn't really a decent person because Dracula on TV isn't Dracula in real life? You realize, don't you, that Dracula is fictional, right? As for the X Files, what aspect of that program are you comparing to Swift?

Thus far, you've not provided any reason for accepting your assertion that she's not who she seems.

Why do you think she pays millions "just to be a sweet cute girl that seems "down to earth" and "approachable""? I'm still waiting for you to provide proof of these outlandish claims.

If the song is "stuck in your head" then, by definition, she's successful at what she does: producing catchy popular tunes. So she's talented at that lucrative sort of music.

I don't know, but neither do you. The difference between us is you assume she is and I assume she is not. And what aspect of swift is not fictional? Or do you believe reality TV is actually reality and is filmed as such? And all her songs and lyrics are exactly what happens in her life? Does she have a song, I just made another 14 million off an album, and I have no idea what to do with all that money?

Easy there. No one is taking away your girl from you. You can keep her. Are you backtracking what you said and are now saying she isn't approachable and is not down to earth?

So is hundreds of other youtube videos, music, etc that aren't as popular as swift.

You seem very sensitive, so why is she so important to you past entertainment that you feel the need to protect her, worship her, and defend her? Who am I to you or her that you feel the need?

I just stated an opinion and you are going out of your way to try to tell me that she is perfect. Save it, I'm not a 13 year old girl or a horny man. You can't sell her to me, because I don't have the need for her. I just don't want her shoved down my throat with her ads, songs, and whatever else you guys worshipping. I will not buy her sh.t in a box. Sorry, I don't think it's worth the money you throw at her.

Well, no. There is actually a video on YouTube explaining how a hit song is being made. It's almost mathematical. It goes as : theme, chorus, beat, hook, promotion, radio coverage, etc. Once you see it, you'll realize how manipulated you are. And it actually uses on of the Swift songs as an example.

Don't bother with this guy. There is no rhyme or reason to his love for this orchestrated image he thinks is real. Logic cannot be used to straighten out what was bent and manipulated to make him believe that she deserves our love, attention and money because she is innocent and pure. He needs proof that she is not a kind hearted person and that her deeds are not motivated by profit--just like I'm sure he needs proof that Coke Co. means well and are not motivated purely for profit and are actually kind hearted people making a wonderful drink for all to enjoy and everyone is unjustly attacking them for using industry-known tactics for induced addiction, unethical manipulation and marketing.

If he truly believes that Taylor's image is real and wasn't created in the exact frame that makes her likable by a huge range of audience solely for making money, then more power to him. In that case, I don't want to break his view of the world. Because once you find out that people do things and create likable images for the sake of only money and not because they are "kind but incidentally just get paid for being themselves" and are "true artists", well, then you have to start actively avoiding the brainwashing tactics of any money making machines like Taylor Swift. It's a lot of work, and you will always still get manipulated by a great ad and image agency (apple, ironically being one).

It's not's not a sad world, the world is great. It's more sad how much money we throw at the things that matter least... like Ms. Swift.

Or... maybe just stop giving her money so she can stop making those annoying-as* noises she calls music and lyrics. "Players got to play play play play, haters got to hate hate hate hate hate, i'm going to shake shake shake shake shake"...
