Just got my blue tw case, and it's pretty thick, but I liked the grip and it's decently high quality for the $59 it costs. I'll use it 50% naked and 50% with the case.

It seems Apple has given up on leather. I mean yes the last ones were apparently horrible with the coatings and what not but is it that hard for them to find a good manufacturer? I guess its all about the price tag. Good leather and leatherwok costs more than cheap leather and mass produced leather cases
It's wasn't about the price tag, at least according to Apple statement at the time they did it. It was about the carbon footprint of leather, and their commitment to become carbon neutral by 2030. They seemed to have conveniently ignored the fact that while cows do have an outsized carbon impact, leather is largely a byproduct of the meat industry.

Yes so their statements are BS for real

I’ve been using my TechWoven case for over a month now and it still looks new so am happy with the build quality. I’ve also dropped my phone a few times also and there’s not a mark on my 17 Pro or case.

So far so good!

Looks good. Was it dropped on a hard floor surface or carpet ?
I have dropped it on a hardwood floor at waist height and it has also fell out of my pocket onto concrete pavement as I’ve got out my car.

I have looked closely at the case and there is no impact damage.

I’d consider the TechWoven case to provide medium protection when compared to other cases.

I have always used gel cases and my phones have felt indestructible. My 8, 12 Mini and 13 took serious beatings with no marks on the chassis whatsoever. I don’t know if the TechWoven case could provide that kind of protection, I just don’t think it feels as protective as gel. I have a Spigen gel case too if I were to take my 17 Pro somewhere risky.

The plus side is that it looks a lot better than a gel case and is also a lot grippier.
