I purchased a sienna techwoven on release day. That one fit nice and tight, no creaking or loose corners. I eventually returned that one thinking I’ll find better cases. After a couple of months, I repurchased one and fell in love again with the form factor, but now the corners pop off easily. I’ve tried 3 different one and it’s the same issue.

Anyone get one recently and find the fit not loose?

P.S. What happened to the main case thread? Am I tripping or did it disappear?
I recently picked up a sienna and it fits perfectly- not loose at all!

Hmmm I was just on that thread earlier today but it is gone now. Wonder what happened

The initial tech woven case I purchased on release day had this issue with the corner popping off. I exchanged it after a couple weeks and the replacement fit perfectly

Not having this issue with my green or blue on 17 pro

Is it for 17 pro or pro max?

I think mine were august builds iirc. Wonder if the early run ran tighter or something or luck of the draw

That would annoy me too

Pro. I tried sienna and the ever popular blue. Neither fit well.

I might try my luck again sometime soon.

I remember on my iPhone 16 pro max the Apple silicone case on the bottom right corner pop away from that area of the phone thus diminishing corner protection. Of course I dropped it once and the screen protector took the damage in the very same corner due. Noticed the 17 pro max Apple silicone case doesn’t behave this way. Does the techwoven apple case pop out on any corners ?

Mine is completely fixed and so were Silicone cases so far. Although that was on the Pro models, perhaps due to largers size, on Maxes corners pop out more easily.

I tried a couple more today. A black one manufactured in July and a blue one from October. Same issue on both - slightest push in any corner and the case pops off. Guess I’ll stick to my slightly better fitting sienna.

For folks with proper fitting cases - can you tell me the manufacturing date on the back of the box?

I traded the Sienna colour for blue today. The corners Sienna was much tighter to push on while the blue was easier and the corners creek a bit when I push on them. Not sure if I should replace again.

July - Green, August - Blue

both good 17 pro.

Yes! I returned 2 tech woven for my 17 pro because pop out easily !

I finally got my Blue case in for my 17 PM. Seems to fit good. No popping out on the corners.

I do have one complaint though. The lip around the screen is not big enough. I have a tempered glass screen protector on my phone, and the lip seems to be about level with the screen protector. If the phone falls face down, there isn't any substantial lips around the screen to give any protection.

I decided to take my blue case with squeaky corners and swap it again. I decided I liked the sienna colour better and the second case does not squeak.

I just got back from the Apple store. I tried all the cases that were on display and absolutely all of them squeaked! They also popped off easily! I'm done looking for TechWoven! I ordered Caudabe Eucalyptus and will rotate it with my Synthesis. And for black I might order Paragon open

I wonder if it's the cases or down to like tolerance of the build of an individual iPhone or something. doubt it but never know.

seems weird if every single one did it .. how many did you try?

The Techwoven cases are much stiffer than both the older Apple leather cases and the current silicon cases. I think the squeaky corners are a result of the stiff case being slightly off and not having the flexibility to bend as easy as the aforementioned cases.

I like my TW case but there is one issue I don't like, it doesn't have a soft inner lining. The inside of this case is almost as rough as the outside, so it could file off the anodized edges of the phone, if you take it in and out often.
