Read my comment again. I have no problem with my laptop anymore - I was wondering if I should go anyway to check it. If I say I haven't dropped it and I have no noticeable problem than why would I there? On the other hand, if I wake up one day and my SSD would die then it's bad.

If I were you, I'd take it in and have it looked at for peace of mind, and if they say there's an issue, decide whether it's worth the cost of fixing it (given that it's working now, probably not... Just back up religiously).

With respect to a bunch of the earlier comments, which may no longer apply since the laptop is working now, i find honesty and ethics to be worth more than saving a few bucks. And even from a purely economic standpoint, I find that people (even those at giant companies) are very often willing to help you out if you just explain the situation and ask nicely. Whereas if you lie to them and they realize it... No chance.
