OP, I can tell you that I personally spent about 30 minutes using the Galaxy Tab Pro S while I was traveling in Europe. Here is what I noticed between the IPP which I own and the Galaxy TabPro S.
1. Build Quality is much better on IPP. The plastic backed Galaxy feels lower quality like holding a plastic android tablet.
2. Keyboard quality of included keyboard is Lower quality as well. It feels very flimsy and more prone to breaking compared to Apples keyboard that you have to buy separately.
3. The amoled screen did not impress me. I feel like the blacks on the IPP are inky and very very dark compared to typical LED computer monitor screens. I would say that Apple has done a great job of approaching OLED quality blacks. The higher resolution IPP actually looks better than the Galaxy TabPro S despite the Tabpro S having OLED.
4. Optimization. Using the Internet is not optimized for the screen on the TabPro S so I was constantly having to mess around with resizing while going to new pages and watching videos.
Then add to the fact that you will be stuck having to constantly update flash and other software on the Windows device while the IPP just works and I can tell you I will definitely not be returning my IPP for the TabPro S. I think that if Microsoft released an OLED Surface Pro, then I would consider that as an interesting alternative. Until then, the IPP is leaps and bounds ahead of anything else on the market.
