TenFourBox+10.4 Tiger

Anyone using TenFourBox on a Tiger system, and if so have you found a usable solution to block Advertising?
GlimmerBlocker does a good job on Leopard but has no 10.4 Tiger version, at least none I can locate.

I think the only way to block ads in Tenfourbox is to use a Hosts file. This is what I did on my TiBook running Tiger, after discovering that it didn't use addons.

Thanks for the 'heads-up', downloaded a hosts file specifically for ad-blocking and it seems to be doing a great job.
Make for a much nicer forum browsing experience in Tiger.

Glad it helped. I always keep an eye on the following site for Host file updates. They update the files about once a month. They even have one for OS 9 that is continuously updated!
