Did you unpair and re-pair
Yes, it did nothing really.
Did you unpair and re-pair
I can't answer for Podcasts but i thought that music will only sync when on the charger so not sure what an app refresh for music will do
I'm pretty sure the watch only syncs music & podcasts when it's sitting on the charger.

How to sync music and podcasts to Apple Watch from iPhone - 9to5Mac
This step by step guide covers how to sync music and podcasts to Apple Watch with iPhone no matter if you have an LTE enabled Apple Watch or not.9to5mac.com
Yeah mine is about the same. It stays on 100% for nearly the first two hours though.Looks like you guys are correct. I think it may just be coincidence that my battery life has improved since I disabled background refresh for Music & Podcasts. I noticed that my music and podcasts synced overnight whilst on the charger.
Still great battery life today - 4 hours standby and battery on 97%, though tbf very light use (AOD on though)
Give it a couple of charges and then do the unpair and pair again but right after do the phone hard reset followed by the watch reset. This was suggested by a different poster and has worked for me. Getting over 24 hrs standby with over 4 hrs of usage including 1.5 hrs workout with 18% left. 40mm SG gps Nike-AOD on, raise to wake on; auto refresh off, noise off. I do put it on theatre n airplane mode overnight while using 2 different sleep apps.Yes, it did nothing really.
This is with the new watch so not sure what to think at the moment.
Will see what the Nike watch does instead when it arrives today
I even have raise to wake off
That’s pretty much my exact normal usage too and am getting the 5% drain even after a repairing. I try to ignore the results from people who have either AOD or WTR off since that is “cheating” in my eyes and shouldn’t be necessary to get decent battery life. This is my experience too. Pretty disappointing to be honest. I’m not having mad drain, but it’s highly unlikely that I’d make 18 hours comfortably. Not sure 6.1 will do much for me. I tried the reset trick, but that made no difference.
AW SS LTE 44
AOD & WTR on (what’s the point otherwise)
Background refresh off for most
About 30 mins daily workout. No streaming etc.

Got my Nike watch set up so will see how this one goes in a few days...
GPS only likely won’t make any difference so will see. Loving Nike faces though
Me too, loving this watch!

To be honest i got worse than that at times...i often had like 70% left at around 2pm after being off charge at 7.30amSo today I took it off the charger at 7AM and I barely used it even though it says 2 hours of use age and 6 standby and already down to 75%. Bad in my view and since time is now 1 pm does that mean that use age time is part of standby time since i have used it six hours? If I add useage and standby I have 8 hours which is not correct. So far I have had it off the charger for 6 hours and no workout.

Mine does that too. Sometimes the Usage and Standby are blank. Did you find out why?Hmm, I wonder why my watch isn't showing usage and standby data today. It was fully charged last night

Do you lose all the data when you unpair and re-pair the watch?36 hrs of use , more than enough. In the beginning was great if i could get to 12hrs of use. If anyone has a bad battery life just do unpair/pair and will get much much better.

If yo had been a s3 user like me with 58% left at bedtime with 1.5 hours of bike riding registered you would have been frustrated with the s5 barely surviving the day.In my experience, the battery life is been pretty good. I end my day with about 30% and i don't have battery anxiety. It wasn't anything that disrupted my flow of what I was doing for Series 4.
Haven't been using the AW4 but fired it up, installed OS6, and used it for a couple of days. Battery life took a steaming dump on my head. It's about 50% after sleeping and coming home at 5:00, no workouts and minimal use. Working out, with podcasts, would probably put it in the 30's. No way this gets two days, much less squeaking into 3 like it used to do.
Meanwhile, my Fenix goes a week with multiple workouts and podcasts and still has room to spare. Granted it's rated at 21 days but Apple really needs to improve this thing. I used to be able to defend it's life for most runners / athletes but not any more.
Mine already does.will be interesting to see if AW5 can get the 4’s battery life (pre OS6)
