People used Outlook? Surprised how ancient it isIt's an Outlook 2000 invite, when at the time it was a must to select a funnny background, a gorgeous font and a bunch of colors!
Not a single person I know uses WhatsApp, but maybe it's more common outside of the United States. Otherwise yes, I'd agree it's a platform mainly for old people at this point.
I sent an invite via messaging/SMS and it put in a thumbnail of the background image but squashed it. That kinda sucked. There was one SMS/RCS user and the rest were iMessage users but I doubt that's what caused it.Can you send invites to non-apple users via SMS? or is it just email?
If just email its a non-starter, but a link in a SMS would get some traction
It's a cool app , useful. I think the biggest takeaway for me is the design
Yep, when every myspace page was full of flashing words, multi color background...People used Outlook? Surprised how ancient it is
When Meta can drop you from Facebook at any moment with no real reason, Facebook is not a reliable place to go. Plus the appalling right wing politics of Meta.Everyone I know IRL just uses Facebook Event invites. I guess it's good to maybe give people the opportunity to move away from Facebook, but I don't see it happening.
Both are Meta properties and you can lose access any moment for no real reason, no explanation and with no comeback.Facebook is for old people, everyone else uses WhatsApp
