Of course a smaller drive is going to write slower. The controller has to figure out where it's going to put the data and it doesn't have that much room to put it compared to a 256 GB drive. What a stupid article

Why is apple still using a USB connection? They should use the thunderbolt cable.

"... controller has more access to the NAND flash memory chips..."

Er, that should probably read "... controller has access to more NAND flash memory chips..."

The former implies the controller can access the chips in more ways, while the latter tells it like it is, there are more chips available.

It's only a big story if people watch something to make it a big story. He didn't "shill". I wonder if you even know what that means based on your comment to be honest.

Sure, people are dumb...they'll watch sensationalized videos that become a big story because they've been linked and re-linked. He continued to churn out additional videos bending the phone in different ways, all in the name of page views. I call that shilling.

Shilling is pushing a product for money even when the pusher isn't truly behind the product.

He wasn't doing that. He got a story with traction and anyone with a brain would follow that story to capitalize if it meant supporting them self.

And so it begins....

So what about the battery life and performance of iPhone 7 Intel vs Qualcomm modems? T-Mobile/AT&T vs Verizon/Sprint?

Let's get it on,

But my point is his credibility that's in question, not his business acumen. He capitalized on a story when he could have stopped.

Shilling can also refer to someone who purposely promotes a person or product without disclosing that they have a financial stake in the matter.

Ever since he started that whole "bendgate" with the iPhone 6 Plus, I've lost respect for him. Now he's just gotten annoying and redundant.

While the 32gb model may be slower than its larger brethren, it's still faster than the 6S's SSD. Also I don't think the person buying the 32gb model will care... someone writing lots of content needing the speed would have at least 128

Why is he screaming??
He got a point the 32gb model is really slow in write speed almost like 5400 rpm drive

This is very very normal for how solid storage works.

I see this as a non-issue. If the iPhone had capacity of say... 5TB, then sure... it would be slower to copy stuff to it. For 32GB? WHO. CARES? Read speeds are the thing that is most important 99.999999999% of the time, and hey.... guess what? The 32GB is just as fast as any other model.
