Anyone else get the alert about the Thanksgiving Day challenge badge?

This STINKS since T-day is the ONE day I was planning a little reprieve and traveling.😱 Now I may need to start my trip earlier and find a spot to do a little run because I can't have a blank badge littering my Achievements tab. 😡

Also I dislike 5K.🙄🙁

I got the notification this morning. Thankfully my gym will be open Thanksgiving morning so I'll be able to get a good workout in before I stuff myself!

I did not plan to run this Thursday, but I might have to get out there an extra day this week to earn the badge.

Too short of a distance for a run. If I'm going to all the trouble of putting my shoes on and getting through the worst mile (the first) why stop at 3. 😉

It should trigger the award. I used the NIKE Running app and I received the award for my first run within the Activity app.
[doublepost=1479755642][/doublepost]I want to know if I can split activities and receive the award. If I go to the gym and workout, and do elliptical and a run or a run and a bike, will it count. Or does the challenge have to be with just 1 activity.

Because if I use anything other than "other" I don't get credit for my exercise. Even if I do 3mph at a 7 deg incline I still get 10 minutes of credit for an hour's worth of work.

Mine showed up at 6:00 am this morning on my AW SO running WOS3.1. The screenshot I posted above is from my Watch, but it is also listed on my achievements page.
 
This is my very first message to this forum-- please forgive me acting like a total newbie! ;o) I really, really could use some help. I'd love to accomplish this unique badge for Thanksgiving! Would someone kindly tell me how to find this particular announcement? For the life of me, I cannot find any notification anywhere on my watch (AW02) nor my iPhone Activity App. I do confess a wee bit of ignorance, so please educate me how to find (and perhaps activate) this badge so that I may be able to earn it on Thanksgiving Day. Thanks so much in advance! ;o)
