That black notch ruins the movie experience!!!

I didn't realize how many people actually watch movies on their iPhone. The smallest display I would watch a movie On would be my iPad.

If Im in bed i prefer to use my 7 Plus than my iPad. its just more comfortable.

Apple should give users an option to turn off the notch and make it "disappear" by filling in the top part of the display with a black bar and scaling the screen down, so the top of the display looks exactly as it has on previous iPhones.

Apple tends to give users as less options as possible...

That's a much greater concern, yes. I never watch movies on the phone. I assume the same principle will apply - shrinkage to a 4.7" equivalent with thin black bars either side and on top.

I can live with that. I'd rather a slightly smaller video on a better screen.

I think most people will feel cheated since their 5.8in big screen got shrunk down 4.7in without the annoyance caused by the notch.

I think the first response summed it up. Plus, watching a movie on a phone is already pretty terrible.

I will be waiting for the Plus version, or who knows. Maybe Ill see what the Galaxy S9 offers.

I have a 7 Plus, I dont see any huge reasons to get basically the same phone.

What features would you be gaining with an iPhone X Plus over your iPhone 7 Plus that you can't get with an iPhone 8 Plus?

Well for one the Size would be either the same or smaller but with a bigger screen. I would also liked OLED at this point, looks fantastic.
