The '08-'09 NHL Season Thread

I forgot to post that the Isles suffered their worst loss in franchise history. A 9-0 drubbing courtesy of the Canes.

I'll be starting a Playoffs thread in a few days once all is finalized.

Fenway Park holding next NHL Winter Classic?
The Boston Red Sox are in talks with the NHL to host next year's version of the Winter Classic at Fenway Park, a baseball official said on Thursday.

The official spoke on the condition of anonymity because no deal has been reached.

But a couple of local news outlets are confirming that the deal is already done — both the Boston Herald and the Boston Globe say Fenway has the 2010 NHL Winter Classic in the bag, meaning that the hometown Bruins will indeed host the third annual version of the outdoor event.

i wonder who'd they played? i heard the rangers in one rumor but that was at giants stadium. I would think montreal as that's the B's real rival
Don, i wonder which great draft pick the islanders will get and then trade away for garbage :p
