rip-off?

Fine me a better for phone for $750 than the iPhone 6s 64GB?
There are several great phones in that price range. S6, S6 edge(+) for example. My 64 gb 6 Plus cost $850.
It has a worse screen than S6. It performs worse than s6 and has a worse camera than s6.

Dude the iPhone 6s will blow away those Samsung's in real world performance and camera.

Even the old 6/6+ real world performance is better than the Samsungs because of Android/Samsung Skin conflicts. The Samsung camera may be slightly better but even that is debatable. What isn't debated is even the old 6 has a far superior OS, ecosystem, and resale value.

Those are very nice phones. But they are not iPhone 6s quality.

btw: The MotoX pure that is $400 has only 16GB

Oneplus 2 starts to lose 40% of its battery life in a matter of days:
http://indianexpress.com/article/technology/tech-reviews/oneplus-2-review-one-month-update/

These are not premium top end phones. They are not built with the best materials and parts. Neither do they have a great warranty, customer support, or ecosystem.
However they are only $400. A $400 phone should not have the same capacity as a $650+ phone.

Also, those storage bumps are $50 increments and not $100 like Apple.

Wow, the forum has been infected with Apple shills.

Apple fans? Wow so weird right? Apple fans on an Apple site.

I'm bring FACTS to the table. Go ahead and prove me a shill by disproving my FACTS.

Funny how people who don't have FACTS on their side start to throw insults.

You said those phones come close to the 6. They do not.

Just like a Kia is not close to a BMW. They both have 4 wheels, engine, ect. But they are not even close to the same quality. Same with those phones vs the iPhone.

And the 6s will blow those phones away even more.

Those phones are stealing share from Samsung not Apple.

People keep saying 4k but the average household doesnt have a device that even plays 4k. You can switch 4k off for the love of god. Its not THAT big a deal.

PLENTY of normal people, non-techies, order the 16gb and are just fine with it for 50-100 songs and a few apps. Soccer mom is just fine with 16gb. Many are in fact. I bet they sell more 16gb overall than any other size.

I'm sorry but the S6 Edge + is more than a worthy opponent to the Iphone 6S plus.

In terms of specs (not discussing whether you think the RW performance is better), it utterly destroys the iPhone. Hardware such as the screen almost make purchasing it worth it alone.

Oh and have half of you ever actually held the Edge+? I'd say its build quality is superior to the 6/6S. I watched a drop test the other day where some bloke dropped both the Edge+ and the 6S+ from 10 feet and the 6S opened up on impact yet the S6E+ remained intact.

You're all welcome to purchase iOS devices but suggesting that the top samsung handsets are not premium devices is laughable.

While many may not have 4k devices, you have to admit that those videos can look really nice on the high res computer displays.

I never said such thing. I said phones like the S6, Note 5, and Xperia are premium phones that use Android over iOS.

As I said before, your comparison of Kia to BMW is flawed. What does Kia have that BMW doesn't? You are trying to come up with an analogy for iPhone having 16GB over 32GB in Android remember.

Exactly.

I have a 64GB 6+ and used only 10GB of storage.

I have about 200 photos and a few videos on my phone. About 50 Apps. I stream all my music. Stream all my videos and podcasts. I don't think my usage is unusual rather typical.

Phil Shiller of Apple said the 16GB is the most popular model.

A Kia Optima has 275 horsepower.
That's more than the BMW 325. That does not make the Kia a premium product.

That's like saying the Kia Optima is a premium product since it can carry 5 people while the BMW M3 can only carry four. Capacity does not equal premium.

Phone capacity does not equal premium.
Specs does not equal premium.

The iPhone 6s 64GB is only going to be $100 more than premium Android phones. That's my point. That $100 premium is worth it for many buyers.

Thats why you can upload them to your computer. No reason to keep those massive files on a mobile device.

Well, MY point here is that Apple has effectively raised the price for anyone who wants an iPhone and to be able to actually use it for media, by $100 from years past. The base price is almost unusable if you are one who likes to shoot lots of photos and videos, while the base model was fine until now.

Agreed about iPhone 6. The 6 Plus is a dud unfortunately. It's the first iPhone I'm not completely satisfied with, mostly because of its lackluster performance.

Am I the only one thinking that the soap probably thought that Apple should never release a bigger iPhone than 3.5, then 4 inches?

Probably never thought they should get rid of 8gb as the standard either right? If you are even old enough to remember those days, because honesty you sound really young with the way you are acting.

I guess what I'm getting at is there is no changing this kids mind until Apple says otherwise. Then he will go with whatever they tell him to next.

Also there is nothing wrong with being an apple fan, most of us here probably are. The OP is kind of like that stalker ex gf though.

What lackluster performance are you referring to? I use my 6+ for games, taking pictures, social media, streaming videos, browsing websites and very light video editing and have not noticed any hitches in performance.

So Apple raised the price $100 since its introduction in 2007. That raise is LESS than inflation.

Look at the rise of Gas prices, food, water, housing, eletricity, since 2007.

16GB is not unusable. I had a 5S than a 6+ this year. I only use 10GB of storage. I own a 64GB model.

Stop talking for the entire WORLD saying 16GB is not enough.

Like I said this is like clothing. Do you grumble that Men's jeans cost more than kids jeans? Do you write letters to Levi's that its unfair that the kid's jeans cost $20 while the Men's jeans cost $30? Bottom line is if 16GB does not fit your life style get the 64GB.

And if the $100 upgrade is too much then maybe its time to switch to a non-premium brand.

I'm referring to stuttery animations throughout the OS in iOS 9. App switcher stutters, rotating keyboard in spotlight stutters...

I guess its no different than cheering for a football team that you have no real impact on other than buying a ticket. But it still seems weird to me that people WANT Apple to make as much profit as possible. Anyway.

It would cost $5 more per phone to make the base 32GB. But then they are also losing $100 on all those paying for the upgrade. So it is a loss for them. But how do you measure customer satisfaction that you are getting a device worth the premium value? Where does that fall in the profit margins? Also, all those on the fence that would jump from 16GB 6(+) to 32GB. I think Apple would have come out better offering the 32GB base in this version. Prices have come down on flash memory. It is time for them to adjust.

You realize phones have actually been going down in price, right? Except Apple of course. Many "flagship" Android phones can now be found for $400-$550 while before most were $600-$700.

16GB is even more unusable this year with 4k videos and live photos, that's my point.

Total and utter BS.

I have a 6+ and it has amazing performance. Read all the professional reviews and none of them say the performance sucks.

Apple certified shill actually. Keep shilling until everyone gets bored with you.

again you are bring ZERO FACTS to the table to dispute my points.

You are simply calling me names. Thats what people do when they have nothing of value to say.

I assure you the 6+ will not stand the test of time compared to the 5S or the upcoming 6(+)S line.
