I hate to point this out, but draft picks. The playoffs start tomorrow. Draft picks are for the 'we couldn't get it together this year teams' and Columbus & Phoenix.
I think of the Habs as my cute overachieving sister- how can you hate that?
To Don: Weeks pulled threw pretty well, and no offense but I didn't think DP was that good to begin with. Again no offense, but I loved playing you guys when you had him in, because we always destroyed him.
Weeks? As in Kevin Weekes on the Devils?
DP has moments of brilliance, he idolizes Marty (his words). But he ain't anywhere near that skill level. Is he good yes, is he a top 5 goalie, no. Can he be? perhaps.
I'm very happy that both the Sens/Pens game and the Flames/Sharks games are on Versus out here!
I get to start watching playoff hockey at 4 pm! Huzzah!
I gotta move out west. I want to see all the games!!! ALL OF THEM!!!
I gotta move out west. I want to see all the games!!! ALL OF THEM!!!
I feel like I'm in Canada with all the games that are being shown here- and both Canadian teams too. It's like CBC HNIC!
I'm going to miss Coach's Corner and Behind the Mask....
Well there's only a few Leaf players right now that deserve to be in the running honestly.Sigh....no Leafs again.![]()
Oh well that whole Habs-Leafs thing is a little old, the spite from Toronto hockey fans mostly is directed at the Ottawa Sens.Timeout.... you're a Maple Leaf fan but you want the HABS to go far. There is something very wrong with that statement.

This year I don't even know who to cheer for... maybe I should watch the draft picks and look for a better future for Toronto's cup hopes.
Well there's only a few Leaf players right now that deserve to be in the running honestly. There's been a lot of talk here that Sundin has to go else where to get his (rightfully deserved) Stanley cup ring. It's a shame that such a consistently good player has to deal with the luck/fate/curse/mis-management of the Toronto Maple Leafs
Old? It never gets old. Rangers/Islanders, never EVER gets old. It's just that good.
I'm rooting for whoever plays the Rangers. So right now... LET'S GO DEVILS!
I have no love for the Devils. So while not a Rangers fan, and certainly not a Jagr and even more certainly not a Shanahan fan (see previous team), I am a Drury fan (see original team) so I gotta say if I have to choose sides, I choose NY.
What no one has been talking about yet is the interesting factor that while sure they played during the season, now Scott Gomez goes against his former team for an entire playoff series. But I just don't see much in the way of bad blood. The Devils just don't really get into to it too much with anyone. Kinda bland now that Stevens has been gone. Added to which, Brodeur just reminds me a of boy.
I'd rather die than root for the Rags.
I certainly don't have love for the Devils, but I respect Marty. Marty = filthy.
Scotty Stevens, he was D-man if I ever saw one. The Devils have some guys that can get under your skin, but not as much as Stevens did. With that said Devils v Rags is gonna be an exciting series. They hate each other.
I can respect Marty.
Scott Stevens. No. There are D-Men and there are Dirty D-Men. He was a dirty player. Out to hurt people with elbows to the head and bad crosschecks to the boards. Now he never swung a stick at anyone or tried to step on someone's ankle, at least not that I can remember, but he was still dirty.
Chris Simon now there's a gentleman and scholar of the game.
I never said I respected Stevens. He played hard and dirty. Chris Simon now there's a gentleman and scholar of the game.
I think this is going to be a great series though, and as much as I dislike both teams, I am hoping for some great highlights, and some one taking out Jagr.
I am so excited for the Pens v Sens, All of the Jerseys on campus is just a great sight to see. After last year, it will be awesome to beat some Ottawa ass.
Here, here. You guys better beat their asses. I have some allegiance to Pittsburgh- my brother lived there for 7 years while at CMU. Great town.
And as for Jagr- I've heard that he's going to be playing in Russia next year. Anyone else hear that?
