It's playoff time boys and girls! I only predict round by round. I will continually update this post with scores and all that fun stuff.

thank god the rangers aren't playing boston. But how soon will golf season start for the rangers? :p
I think it will be Detroit vs. the devils or flyers maybe Pittsburgh. I don't think thomas is good enough to take them all the way.
 
im so looking forward to this bruins vs habs matchup in the first round.. if its anything like the game between them last thursday, it's going to be an amazing series

Ok, now that I need to add something useful to the thread instead of the usual team loyalty cheer....

I think Vancouver will get by Columbus. The 'Nucks have always saved their best for the 2nd season..... However, they depend on Luongo too much. He will get bashed around during the first series, which will go all 7 games - with several overtime periods. The Canucks will then be eliminated in the semi-finals due to the loss of Luongo.

Or, its 'Nucks all the way!!!

I of course was at the Isles final game of the season yesterday. You know the 6-2 murder at the hands of the Bruins.

I'll make changes and update said predictions.

EDIT: Surely, the Flyers in their loss to the Rags lost home ice.

I just don't see it happening for them this year. The Habs are lucky that they made the post-season in spite of their mediocre goaltending and decimated defense. Chara is going to destroy them.

I think Bruins in 5....... but I'll be nice and say 6.

P.S. Do what you want, but the font you used is just awful to read.
 
I want to see Avery piss off the Capitals like he did with the Devils last year, then have Lundqvist shut the door. Come on, it could happen! :D

I'm honestly concerned about Theodore. I mean it's no secret that he chokes in the playoffs. I still think the Caps will beat the Rags.
 
Hey TDD, how soon can we expect Garth Snow to trade away the 1st pick overall they just won in the draft lottery? :D Perhaps for another goalie?


Draft order went as expected, with the Isles getting the #1 and the Bolts getting the #2 pick.

My Leafs got the #7 pick, but Burkie says he wants Taveres.......
 
Avs take the 3rd pick. That's such a strange turn from the years when they picked so late.

My Flyers have so much choke saved up that they are probably going to lose 3 games in the Pens series and forfeit.

I have server maintenance to do for a lot of customers. I'm doing some tonight, and the rest is happening on the weekend in the mornings before the games. :)

It was already traded, where've you been?

Burkie will probably get Taveres, seeing how we will trade away the pick.
