i like the throwbacks but haven't they worn a variation of those before? What makes these different?

This new throwback sweater is using the Leafs logo from 1966-1970. The throwback sweater that they've been using for the last ten(?) years is the logo from 1963-1967.

For any of the local Boston boys - I have 2 tickets for Friday night's game that I will let go for a fair price. Only rule is that you have to go to the game (ie, don't turn and sell these). Scouts honor. Cash or paypal (plus paypal fees if you pay that way). I'll email you the PDFs. Let me know today.

If I don't hear from anyone today I'll sell them to Ace. Going rate on Ace for my section is $62/per+fees so I'll go for $35/per. 7 rows from the glass.

The preseason opened with a win for the Leafs against the Sens yesterday. The game was actually on The NHL Network, but I didn't know about it. They're replaying it today.....and then they're showing the Leafs vs. Flyers game tonight. Woo hoo.

Cool side story about the Leafs/Flyers game.....both the Schenn and Kessel brothers will be facing off against each other in the game. Cool beans.

^^^ sweet. I'm just going to print the e-ticket from the website and leave those at home even though they sent a lanyard to protect them.

btw: I still haven't bothered to sell my tix yet for Friday if you are interested. Otherwise I have to call Ace today. Since I'm in Korea and it's 4am I've been procrastinating.

So apparently Shanny has wasted no time in coming down hard

10 for Shelly (skewed because of persistent repeat offender i know)
and 5 for Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond(no idea who the hell he is)

nevertheless, i think messages are being sent-

lets hope it continues when someone like Perry or Weber does something( I picked two random names of star players with little or no suspension history but are capable of doing it)

Good for him. I didn't watch the Leblond one but I did see the Shelley hit. 10 games and he deserves it. Also, good for Rosehill for laying down a little punishment. Crappy hit. Maybe some serious early suspensions will change things a bit.

wish i could but i'm a waiter, so i work every friday and saturday night.. i need a month in advance to get a weekend night off :/, so no weekend games for me this year..

once the season starts if you have any like mid week games i might be interested in one.. i almost always sit up in the balcony so good seats would be interesting for once.

I am more impressed that he scored anyways-a co-worker wondered if maybe the goalie was distracted by the banana, since clearly Simmons didnt seem to care.

Good for him to take the high road and basically blow it off as some random drunk trying to be cool.

Seriously? This is disgusting. I have to say that, as a hockey player myself (and a gay man who plays in a straight league), I have never met nicer people than those who play hockey. GREAT people. We may fight and such, but after the game is over, it's beers and apologies and compliments. The guy you hated on the ice is the exact person who buys you a beer (or vice versa) after the game. The fans though? Seriously, I don't think a lot of them get the spirit of the game. It's about having fun and doing your best. What happens on the ice, stays on the ice.

At least that's how it is here in Chicago. We all get to know each other and have a good time no matter what happens- black, white, gay, straight. It's just not a big deal. It's a shame to see a fan soil the greatest sport in the world.

EDIT: OK, jerk who downgraded my post- show your face. Or are you too *********** to admit it? People like you do not deserve to be involved with hockey or any other sport. You're cowards. State what you disagree with or leave.
