i love how they failed the first time to censor and let it keep happening-then tried to apologize
It was funny, but very unprofessional. There were lots of kids at that event.
But, the guy just had the most stressful couple of months in his life and came out on top. He's entitled to a little fun.![]()
i didnt see many kids, and we all went crazy after it. loved it!
Does anyone think Nash will be dealt this week?
I have a feeling that the draft and the first weeks of free agency will be very quiet-not only will he not be dealt, but until the CBA is signed, no one will make any kind of major splash-no one knows that the new cap structure will be and how a massive contract like Nash or Luongo will be handled.

If anyone bites, it'll be the Rangers. They've got to dump him either this week or draft weekend and they must make a deal - he can't come back. Totally awkward.
Also leaning more and more toward Luongo going nowhere or getting traded for scraps. Tampa potentially solved their goalie problem. Florida is a maybe. Columbus is a super small maybe. Toronto? Only if Vancouver truly wanted to dump his contract.
I agree. I doubt we'll see any surprising signings.
I really think that, after all is said and done, Nash will be a Ranger. I'd rather see him as a Leaf though....
Luongo will probably become a Leaf, and to be honest, I don't really have a huge problem with that. Our goaltending situation isn't looking too hot, and I really think he'll be able to finally get us into the playoffs. The question is will he ever be able to play as well in the playoffs as he does in the regular season? I think that's a risk that Burke is willing to take.
Also, Suter will be a Red Wing.
Also, Suter will be a Red Wing.
The one thing I hope is that the Wings don't overpay for Suter, Parise, or anyone they pick up this offseason. The Wings can pull hometown discounts easily, but I hope Holland can sell some FAs on the organization and ownership and not overpay. Suter would be a huge help, but he won't be the sole savior to fix all the issues. Need to keep that financial flexibility moving forward.
It looks like Post #1883 might be a good place to split this thread off into a 2012-2013 thread.
Perhaps selected trade posts before that too, but I'm not a Mod.![]()
It's Surely's job anyway...
Or just an off-season thread because there's going to be enough news just this off-season I think. Especially if there's no hockey or a late start as I'm fairly certain there will be.
