At least Nike didn't give them the hall monitor sash.
There's nowt wrong with a sash. ;)

Meanwhile, and continuing on the new kit theme... regular readers will know that I'm none too keen on QPR. However, the second best blue and white hooped team in the Championship next season (cambookpro will back me up on that ;)) have unveiled their polyester rags for 2013-14 and the home kit looks rather sharp...

I'm not that into Lotto's stuff but I reckon they've excelled themselves on this occasion.

Both could be heading to Chelsea as well. Actually, everyone assumes Mou is Chelsea-bound...but I'm wondering if he might not end up somewhere else. Back to Italy perhaps? But his stock is high in England now, at least among Chelsea fans.

He's burnt bridges in Italy and now Spain. England and Germany are the two countries left. Except maybe China. I doubt he'd fit in France. There's no space in Germany (Klopp and Pep) which leaves England.

The only club that can 'handle' him is his old one...and maybe City. But even City will prefer Pellegrini, who is more level headed, over him. Thus leaving us with Chelsea.

Egotistical Manager who wants access to unlimited funds + Egotistical Owner who has access to unlimited funds. Its virtually a match made in heaven...at least for the next 6-12 months anyway.

Sort of West Germany?

It certainly has a Germany '74 feel about it...

Our first official look at the new England shirt from Nike...

Bland, uninspiring and not much to look at – and now we've got a shirt to match.

Sort of vaguely retro...

Well I saw this from a UK Newspaper.

Some small news from the Netherlands VVV Venlo are finally out of the Eredivisie after 4 years, they will play in the Jupiler league next season.

With 3 matches left to go in the play offs here there is a chance that Sparta Rotterdam will return to the Eredivisie. Sparta are the oldest club in the Netherlands.

Ick glob, ick seh' nich' recht...Wassup, Pachy!? :D

Saw one without the sponsor-logo: <3

Haven't got the time to look up the mighty Wednesday kit, but assume they'll look also fantastic..:D

he he he. no idea waht it looks like they haven't leaked a pic yet. i think we are still with PUma for one more season. =(

Word on the wires is that Tony Pulis is leaving Stoke. If he is throwing the towel in there I'm sure it'll travel a long distance and be aimed squarely at the forehead of some 6ft-plus bruiser.
Just heard the same. Mourinho leaves RM and shortly after Pullis leaves Stoke... Coincidence?

Hopefully the numbers will be red, otherwise it risks looking a bit drab.

It might be the case too that the collar is a bit closer to navy blue 'in the flesh', as it's looking a tad too dark in some of the publicity shots.

In MLS news, today it was announced the 20th team in the league will be another New York team owned by Manchester City with minority owner New York Yankees. Looks like Red Bulls have now become the MLS equivalent to the Mets.

Certainly I think it gives our chances of avoiding the drop a little boost, especially if they appoint a manager tasked with changing the team's ethos.

Better them than you! I would not be sorry to see them go down after the dull, title-denying games I had to watch with them against Liverpool.

In other news, seems West Ham have agreed a £15m deal for Carroll.

I'm glad the club has embraced reality. That's the most I'd expect to get for him, and now we can move on. Carroll may have a future in the league but he is not the kind of player we are looking for right now. People will crow about the supposed loss but that money was gone long ago. I see it as 15 million pounds gained. Best of luck to Carroll going forward, and I hope he leaves without a big fight.

The fact that the Yankees are involved would alone guarantee that I wish nothing but failure for them forever. But an unholy union between the oil sheiks and Yankees makes them supremely execrable. I hope they bring money to the league, but are perennial duffers just like the Red Bulls.

Yet another big market, big-dollar team arrives to ensure that the smaller guys like Columbus never win anything ever again....

I wouldn't worry about it considering MLS has a salary cap, which we know the Yankees and City know nothing about.

It would seem Carroll has yet to agree though. Rumour has it, he wants to play some sort of European football, not necessarily CL though.

I don't think he's in any position to be picky. He plays a certain way thats mostly suited to a Big Sam or Pulis-type team. No team competing in Europe will be that keen on him...especially not for £15m.
