Stewart Downing on the right wing was SENSATIONAL today. Why can't he be more consistent, might play more
I wouldn't put it all on Real, Barça has been on fire with the best start in la liga history.
Their main problem is they can't seem to find goal, and everyone is playing them with a lot of balls, pressing early on trying to get the goal then defending, besides Malaga is not a bad team at all.
Just watching Roma - AC Milan 4-0 on 80'. Ex-Roma pin-up Mexes absolute dross in defence. Let in 3 headed goals...Roma seem a nice balanced side, well set up by Zeman. Business like Twente made sure of the win, but failed to entertain.
This result put Twente back on top of the Eredivisie, if only for a day.
Saturday
Heerenveen 2 v Vitesse 1
Well Heerenveen bounced back from beker defeat, to surprise Vitesse who just had terrible off day.
Heracles Almelo 1 v PEC Zwolle 1
All the action was in the first half. This was a typical game just before the winter stop.
NAC 1 v PSV 6
When PSV win they tend to win big not pretty mind you, but this puts them back on top, and that was what they wanted.
Sunday
Utrecht 0 v Ajax 0
Again Ajax had problems with their bogie team. Ajax are the losers from this game.

Fergie is being a little over the top methinks. It was a dangerous play, worth a yellow, but I think it was an accident.
