As much as I want to I can't place all the blame on Romo..

As much as I want to..............

he he he...

But they all are horrible. And constantly in the news even though they are a non - story.

I'm waiting for the tell all book from any number of TV sports commentators who confess to being ashamed for taking money from jerry jones to keep talking about them. :p

Dallas = Ugh.

That is all I have to say. :(

Funny thing is, I have the exact opposite reaction :D
I usually go by ATBC (Any Team But the Cowboys) - to see them once again swoon in December has really made my month.

This is the worst 4th quarter interception week I have ever seen with Brady, P Manning, and Romo (2) all tossing key, late interceptions. It's not as if any of these guys are poorly rated (88.1/23 TD, 112.9/47 TD, and 96.9/29 TD, respectively) and it's not the type of thing with ugly 4th quarter game losing interceptions that you would expect from this type of talent.

What got my goat was that the defenders easily caught these balls (save that amazing grab in one of Romo's 4th quarter picks). I don't know if this week will be defined as the worst late passes ever or the complete collapse of the Dallas defense. We can go on and on about the Romo interceptions but the defense of the team needs a serious talking to today.

I love the fact that the Steelers still have a ghost of a chance. Hopefully their last grasp of the playoffs will persist right up to the afternoon of the 29th, and then the howls of dismay will rise through valleys filled with bare trees and dead leaves as their hot salty tears turn SteelTown into a steaming, rusty wasteland.

many, many years ago, I did not despise those guys

I'm thinking Cutler is a Bear for a foreseeable future.

He nearly blew it Sunday. Isn't he a free agent after this season? I think the Bears can upgrade the QB position without really paying too much money on someone else.

Actually, he was quite good yesterday. The Browns were better on pass defense than anyone McCown had played and Cutler rallied big time and was huge on third down (something McCown never has been). Huge improvement over McCown even with the two interceptions in the first.

Bears will likely sign Cutler for another three to five years.

yeah, i was gonna say that game probably ended the way it would have even if mccown had played.

but i think mccown is better.

What ever..... hater! :D

On a side note, was does everyone think of the hit on the punter from Cinci?

Ouch to say the least.

Think it was a good hit?
Cheap shot?

I have seen yellow hankies left and right for hits like that. Leading with the helmet will get you a PF if the zebras see it. In this case, a fine might be in order, there was no justification for that hit, it looked just like spitefulness.

On a side note, the Dallas team is a bunch of arrogant skanks. America's Team, give me a break, seeing them stumble is ever so satisfying. I think I know the problem with their game plan: needs more cowbell.

Legal, but extremely cheap. He could have tackled him without absolutely annihilating him. He was clearly trying to blow up the guy. A kicker. Come on. That's one of the things I really hate about football.

How do bored statisticians amuse themselves? By studying the fans. According to the story, the Steelers have the most "unstable" fans, showing the highest degree of elation at winning and the darkest gloom at losing. Raiders and Patriots fans are right behind. The most "stable" fans belong to the Cowboys, Eagles and Colts.

I thought the 49ers had the most unstable fans. The neighborhood around Candlestick Park is ferocious and it will be a good thing when the team moves to a neighborhood that isn't SF's most notorious place for violent crime.

Garvin was fined $25,000 for that hit.
