:(

Don't think we deserved to lose, but at the end of the day it's only one stat that matters...
Murray has had two poor games now. Can't believe he took the penalty, never was a consistent penalty scorer for Palace.

You'll probably go on to do the double over us like last season.

In other news: does the Leicester game just prove how bad QPR are?

oops! i don't think i realized there was a reading fan on here. not trying to rub it in.

----------

NBC doesn't have the rights to the league cup.

that said beIN might have one or two on. i was hoping they'd show man city/THE MASSIVE WEDNESDAY today…

Haha, don't worry ;)

Think I did the same thing a few seasons ago when we beat you 6-0. Good luck for the rest of the season, you'll probably do the double over us again - Wednesday seem to be our bogey team in recent years!

..., i suspect we will see more youngsters now
(...)
Me, too.
I was bummed nbc sports app did not have any games today available to watch.
Would you be interested in German 3rd league men and 1st league women football to fill the gaps? :) I could post links, the next time the German TV stations have legal online streams for free. (Also the first and the final DFB-Pokal matches - i.e. a cup for the best teams out of all leagues against each other - and some extra events are broadcasted online for free, too.).
If you are in MN, USA, then I guess it will be 6 hours difference. That means the matches will be at 10 or 11am for you...

I agree with you - though, when the odd big loss happened under Ferg he rarely shipped any blame. Ditto LvG - so far. But had this exact result happened under Moyes you can be sure every armchair manager out there would be explaining how the failure was largely his fault.

Ferg and LvG have won things and thus have the luxury of not taking much blame in many cases when they do fail. In this case it probably was indeed more the players' fault - some are just not performing, others are still bedding in. But, if it keeps happening it will eventually stick to LvG himself.

Yep, better chance of leeway when you've demonstrated the ability. The Fulham game was when Moyes lost a lot of the 'give him time' support - includes me; the managerial performance was indefensible.

Missed the Liverpool game, the penalties sound entertaining - how are the fingernails?

Cheers,
OW

Not in any shape or form a United supporter but I'm with ow (and LordBlackadder) on this one. Giving new managers next to no time nowadays isn't of any benefit (if we aren't counting the soapy tabloid-exploitations which I have no interest in whatsoever) for anyone.

And now everybody crosses fingers for Hertha tonight please! :D

on a more hilarious note: according to reports Leeds has signed the Sturm Graz coach Darko Milanic for,as it is rumored, the highest transfer fee for a coach ever in the austrian bundesliga.

Which further proves english football has more sense than money: Sturm Graz has been playing absolute unwatchable, uneffective rubbish so far. Even worse than 4 years ago. The Sturm fans i know are actually happy he leaves.

And Leeds is paying a transfer fee.

Yes, but Leeds are run by a criminal/lunatic Italian who got rid of their goalkeeper because he was born on the owners unlucky date

If there is any justice in the world that keeper will someday make a save that will save a club from relegation at Leeds' expense, the subsequent loss of revenue will cause the club to go bust and be wound up, leading to investigations that put Cellino in jail.

Nothing to see here, move along now!

no *****!

that said, i'm posting this here because it won't get noticed anywhere else or they will tell me that i've posted it in the wrong spot, so i'm gonna short cut that.

Nope, sorry Pachy. One reason for me to finally get paytv. Hate streaming with a passion - go to dubious site here, install weird player there. no thx. I guess it's only fine if you really know about this stuff - which I don't. Being illegal didn't help discussing it online as well :D

Not saying that's what you did, 'course! :)

Since this is a rumors based board: crazy stuff! o_O

I'm at a loss to explain what happened, but that's a bummer. :(

I sometimes use internet steams (Flash) to watch games, and the only trouble I've ever had is a few links that automatically downloaded (but did not install) some malware.

By the way, I've heard there are rumors that Cristiano Ronaldo could return to Manchester United. Only one thing: the transfer fee is estimated at a mind-boggling £140 million (around €179.3 million or US$227.4 million). That price is just flat-out insane, especially for a 29-year old player.

Man U needs to look at better defense.. Not washed up over priced goal scorers.
They need a well rounded team and renaldo would just ruin it imo
Excited I don't work tomorrow and can watch my gunners take out those Spurs !

German TÜV (an Association for Technical Inspection, that everything used in Germany has to go through. Something like British MOT) has prohibited use of the free-kick-spray in the Bundesliga, because they say the incredients are hazardous to people and ecology (according to maximum amount guidelines for use of the incredients).

Draw a fair result?? Must have seen a different match then, nothing but a lucky punch.

I think Liverpool were better overall, but their defense is just not good enough to defend a 1 goal lead, and Everton spent plenty of time in Liverpool's area. I knew Everton would eventually score, though the way it actually happened was slightly lucky. Liverpool needed a second goal for a win.
