It will all have been worth it if England qualify with a P10 W10 record before marching to victory in Stade de France on 10 July next year.
USA v Mexico tomorrow. I'm very nervous about this one.
Some surprising result in the international s so far. Ireland with a huge win in their group, and Brazil still crap.
donovan from the US team? i thought you didnt like international teams?I play tonight and will run home in time to see most of this one. Donovan with some pretty strong thoughts on klinsman this week...

An amazing fall from grace for the Dutch. There is still way too much talent on that team for them to be this bad.
USA playing Costa Rica in the most meaningless friendly they've ever participated in. I'm not sure I could care less...
USA beaten 0-1 by Costa Rica with a lifeless performance watched by the smallest crowd in years. Bad times. We look absolutely *****.
Despite all that, I am against firing Klinsman. First, he was brought in to bring bottom-up reform of our system - academies, training, all that, and I think that needs to continue. Second, we are in a rebuild - Donovan retired, Howard probably on his way out, Dempsey/Jones aging. Altidore has become a Heskey. Bradley at the peak perhaps, but he's not young. The defense is in full rebuild mode. Klinsi has beaten Mexico in the Azteca and we played to our expected level at the WC. I also don't think we have a better alternative.
took that long did it...?
Oh, right, we are talking about the FA here. The group of corrupt, rich white men who think Michel Platini is just the man to bring reform to FIFA. Idiots.
Danny Ings ruptured his cruciate ligament and is out for the season. Klopp is going to have to figure out a way to get Sturridge and Benteke working together, or switch to a single striker system and keep both happy through some form of rotation.
