Whoever wins the league I’m sure it’s going to be decided on the last game.

Great for the neutral. Nightmare for the trophy presenters. I seem to recall they have to have the trophy in a helicopter ready to fly to the winning ground.

Great for the game, too.

This year, the race for the PL title is a genuine contest, and not the almost effortless coronation that had occurred when Manchester City won the title at an easy canter last year.

The title race itself, and the jockeying for the positions between third and sixth should be very interesting. On the other end of the table, I thought Cardiff was a safe bet for the drop, but Brighton is on ghastly form lately and may give them a lifeline.

In today's least surprising news, Alex McLeish has been sacked as Scotland manager.

If Brighton can win their matches against Wolves (out of form) and Newcastle (probably on the beach) they have a shot. Both Brighton and Cardiff have some really tough matches left so I think anything could happen if either can snatch a draw against one of the big sides. But Brighton have certainly gone from feeling pretty safe to now being in deep trouble.

I have little love for Cardiff's ownership, and Warnock is a bit of a so-and-so; I would probably rather see them go down than Brighton. But losing a six-pointer at this stage of the season is no way to go about staying up.

Tell me about it! My team had a last minute goal against them. Not that we have anything left to play for.
It'll be interesting when VAR comes to the EPL next season. Everyone seems to be on edge in all the matches yesterday. Spiced up an otherwise boring Easter weekend. :)

West Ham. Nothing wrong with our disallowed goal. Very frustrating. That’s the third major decision that’s gone against us in as many weeks. Hope we get some consistency next season.

Figured but wanted to make sure. Tensions flared up the last 15-20 minutes of the match. Honestly thought it minor brawl would turn out with the shoving.

Huge implosion from Man Utd today - right now they are as bad as they were under Moyes - probably worse, actually. The "he's not Mourinho" bounce has completely worn off. Woodward needs to be working the phones this instant looking for a good sporting director to work with OGS.

The upcoming Manchester derby could be very ugly for Man Utd, and if they can't take points off City that's the title race over as well.

Cardiff were a tough opponent and their bone-dry, rock-hard pitch was no fun for anyone, but Liverpool get the win.

I'm not sure if I want to watch this game on NBC Sports Network this coming Wednesday....

Man City are out of Europe and need to win the league or they will look foolish given the money they spend. They will want to crush Man Utd for that reason even apart from the local rivalry.

Of course, on top of that, 10 out of 10 Man Utd fans would rather see Man City win the league than Liverpool, so while OGS will do his best to win, I think the fans would see a Man City win at OT (almost certainly wrapping up the league in the process) as the lesser of two evils.

It does seam that 3rd-6th seem to be falling over themselves to not qualify for the CL!

But you could also pick up a place in the Europa league if you win it.
In fact Spurs could win the CL and finish fifth, Arsenal (or Chelsea) could win the Europa league and finish 6th, then whoever gets fourth would miss out anyway.
