It wasn’t really made for a British audience, so yes, you will find the explanations annoying. But it’s also not just about football. It’s also, perhaps unintentionally, a doco about the globalization of football in the UK.
Agreed and well spoken.

Less than an hour to go and my nerves are shot. Full confidence in this Arsenal team but we’ve not been here before for a very long team.

Come On Arsenal.

I guess it's a sign of how far United have come that I'm disappointed to play away to the league leaders and not bring home a point, despite getting outplayed for the vast majority of the match.

Today showed just how well Arsenal are coached. They were completely prepared for the way United likes to progress the ball up the pitch and were ready and waiting to disrupt the passing lanes. It felt like almost the entire game was played in United's half, and eventually United's defense was going to make mistakes.

ETH reverting to classic OGS form over the past two league matches, being too slow up make substitutions to change situations that aren't working. It cost 2 points at Selhurt Park on Wednesday and a point today at the Emirates.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka reverting to the mean. He's had a pretty good run with Dalot out, but he again made his typical mistakes of losing his marker on crosses and set pieces. United really paid for his lack of situational awareness.

I was skeptical whether Arteta had the necessary experience prior to taking over the Arsenal job - and I still question whether he did - but once he was in I felt he should be given time to work. The club stuck with him through some dicey periods, and I think it has paid off. Even if Arsenal win nothing from him apart from that one FA Cup, he has undoubtedly guided them out of their post-Wenger hangover and has created an improved squad with his stamp on it.

Winning the FA Cup in his first season, with a team that wasn't his, bought him huge stock.

But i agree he has transformed them. Gone are the days where you watched an Arsenal vs *insert top 6 team + Stoke* and you feared for them. The Emirates is actually boisterous now, arguably the for the first time since construction.

It was an entertaining game compared to an otherwise underwhelming weekend. And the game reflected the current status of both clubs. Antony continues to flatter to deceive, McTominay and AWB are still par for course. Casemiro a glaring miss.

Meanwhile Zinchenko probably played his best game in an Arsenal shirt today and Nketiah keeps the momentum going.

Howe, Arteta, and ETH look set to give Klopp and Pep something to think about over the next couple of seasons.

Good to see Bowen back scoring. I feel a bit more positive now. Shame he didn’t manage his hat trick though.
Got SO close with that ball over the top from Ings at the end there...shame that didn't work out for him - beautiful pass, with a lovely takedown and then the end result just wasn't quite there...

I am the only Arsenal supporter in whole of my workplace which is full of Man U, Liverpool and Leeds supporters.

Its going to be hell of a day tomorrow.

Antony is a massive disappointment. Given his age, experience, and price tag, I expected far more of a finished product.

United has tried a lot of different things to try to solve that persistent problem on the right side of attack. Big money signings like Sancho and Antony haven't panned out yet. Academy graduates like Mason Greenwood... well, the less said about him, the better. The most intriguing option they have for that position right now is Facundo Pellistri. Talk of him going out on loan, but I hope he gets a good run-out in the upcoming cup ties and has a chance to earn a regular place.

Sancho should be back in contention for playing time soon, but I have no idea what to expect from him. He's better out on the left, anyway.

What are the odds that Lampard gets sacked today? No news yet, but rumors something will be announced later this afternoon. [EDIT: He gone.]

Lampard was not the right person for the Everton gig, he was promoted beyond his competence level IMO.

With that being said, this sacking does nothing to address the fundamental problem with Everton - it's owner. It's possible they will bring in a firefighter who can create some stability in the dressing room and on the pitch, but that stability will be modest and temporary. Relegation is a very real possibility now.

ETH let too many experienced players go which many United fans said was extremely risky because the team would not have 'depth' to see through the latter half of the season and this has been proven right by the last two games where ETH needed attacking options from the bench and he didn't have any.
