3-0 down against Liverpool at half time. Not unexpected tbh. Neither was City getting back to winning ways the week before we play them!
Elsewhere a win for Forest sees them up to second.

Another loss for Southampton against Palace see’s them with an even bigger mountain to climb. The R in the table against their name seems inevitable.

Looking at that West Ham lineup, quite a few average players on there. Paqueta, Alvarez, Soler all put in 5/10 performances too often. Kudus looks like a ghost of his former self.
Kilman has gotten worse. The team just looks mid
Liverpool have barely had to get out of second gear, and even get to start resting players with only 58mins gone

We are a pretty average team these days. Bowen is probably our best player (although he just came off).
Summerville has shown promise from the little I’ve seen.

But yes lots of our players that are pretty average.

Anyway 4 down now. The final whistle can’t come soon enough.

Would a different manager get more out of them i wonder.
Yes! David Moyes for example…..

Tbh I’ve not seen anything from our current manager that makes me feel like he will push us on at all.

Not that any manager would help us best Liverpool today. They are the league champions in waiting as far as I’m concerned.

The fact that Antonio is out (for a while) with injuries sustained as a result of his car crash can't have helped, either.
Indeed. Having just watched MOTD we could easily have scored 2-3 goals. Not suggesting we would have or deserved to win it, but we didn’t look as bad as the score suggested.

Just needed to keep hold of possession better and get the tackle in early (especially on Salah).

Oh well. City next who’ve just found their form again!

Well we clearly went to Arsenal on Friday with a game plan and for a lot of the game it worked. It wasn't pretty but we kept in the game and kept them from scoring heavily.

My only gripe was we weren't able to threaten a lot or ask many questions of them in the second half when it got past 70 mins still at 1-0.

I'm expecting a similar sort of performance tonight v Chelsea. It just depends on if Chelsea score early and open us up, as Newcastle did.

City still looked beatable against Leicester... not back to their winning ways yet in my opinion! I'm one of the few City supporters on this forum I think, this has been very humbling. We've been extremely spoiled with all these championships, it's amazing how quickly the confidence crumbles with bad results!

Ipswich beat Chelsea two goals to nil. Is this the start of an unlikely comeback and PL survival?

Villa and Brighton share the spoils and United’s woes continue losing to Newcastle by two goals at home.

Rashford made the bench, but wasn’t used.

Utd just 7pts above the relegation zone

And thats 2 successive defeats for Chelsea

You defeated Chelsea, - quite comfortably - I am happy to report.

Man United's owners and directors need to face the fact that they are now in a relegation battle. They are only 7 points away from relegation position and considering they have lost 5 of their last 6 games, falling into the relegation zone is now a clear possibility. United do not have the luxury of allowing Amorim time to fit in because he lost far too many games. They need to start winning because if they do not they will end up in the relegation zone and by then it could be too late to get a manager in to help them to stay in the premier league.

Yep! Did not see that coming. Tremendous night for everyone associated with the club. Atmosphere was brilliant, and the performance from start to finish was spot on. VAR even went our way!

A bonus 3 points we didn't see coming. Hopefully it can give us a bit of a springboard to really give it a good go to try and stay up second half of the season. It's going to be tough but we're competing and hanging on in there.

Chelsea, complete head loss as soon as they realised they could lose to us. Cucurella, Gusto & Enzo an utter disgrace with some of their childish antics throughout the game last night.

Onto Fulham on Sunday.

Very concerned to hear Bowen is out for a couple of months due to a broken foot.
Where will our goals come from? We are going to struggle. Especially without Antonio. Kudus is capable, but not on his own.

The talk around here is you've jumped in front of us in trying to get Emmanuel Latte Lath from Middlesbrough.

Wonderful, our tall (1,78) and very good centerback - Amanda Ilestedt - in Women's Swedish Team, are back and training with her club, Arsenal, again after child-birth.

We'll sure need her to the coming Women's EURO.
Especially if we meet France with the even taller (1,87) Renard, who are incredible good in nodding in a lots of goals. Wth Amanda we'll have a much better defence at least.

Looking forward to see her back on the pitch.
