Hasn't Newcastle valued Isak at £150 million? if that is so no one is going to pay that price for him. Yes clubs always like to have new strikers at their club but only two clubs were showing desperation for a striker and they were Arsenal and Man United and neither of them were going to pay Newcastle's asking price. Newcastle priced Isak out of the market, probably for obvious reasons because they do not want him to leave.

The Saudi Al-Hilal are willing to pay what Newcatle wants - £150 milion, and Isak £600 000/week plus bonuses.

Alexander have said he only wants to Liverpool, but according to this info it's dobtful that they can/want to match this offer. Story goes on - lets see what Isak says?

Arsenal have got their man https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c860l3d10j6o

Just goes to show how over inflated having premier league experience is because Viktor Gyökeres is way way better than Mbeumo and yet Arsenal pay £63.5 million for him. United paid £65.5 million for Mbeumo. I bet United's board is spitting daggers because they needed a striker way way more and they could have got him if they offered Sporting more money but they stopped at £55 million and focused on Mbeumo who has cost United £2.5 million more than Viktor Gyökeres. Just goes to show that United are still extremely terrible at getting transfers done.

Yes, for the first time in an age, our activities (purchases, and indeed, departures) during this transfer window does not leave me depressed, or under-whelmed.

Which is exactly how I feel. So far we’ve let Kudos go. As it looks like Parquete is about to be cleared of match fixing, he is going to be sold (for a lot less than we were going to get before the investigation).

I just hope Potter has some players coming in. Otherwise we will be playing in the Championship.

Man United could be joining you.

Another 'gentleman's agreement' causing chaos between Brentford and Newcastle for Wissa.

If it isn't written on paper, it won't end well.
People in the football world think the notion of a gentleman's agreement still exist. It has not existed for years. Only the written word matters in todays world. 'My word is my bond' has resigned itself into that black hole where everything else that is no longer relevant is put.

United were the first ones that had a 'gentleman's agreement' with viktor gyökeres which was not honoured because he changed his mind and opted to move to Arsenal instead. Arsenal themselves had a 'gentleman's agreement' with Sporting and that did not turn out well either with the club refusing multiple bids for viktor gyökeres

How many times over the years have we seen the likes of Man United and Arsenal go for players, agreements put in place by players and their clubs only for Chelsea to swoop in at the last second to snatch the player away. It happens and it will continue to happen. There is no honour of loyalty in football like there used to be. It is now all about how much the player, the agent and the club can squeeze out of the buying club and if they do not get what they want, the club that put's forward the most money wins.

Despite the dubiously earned European trophy I have not renewed my Tottenham membership for 2025/2026.

The only reason I would see good value in going to watch a game would be to see Spurs women play and I don't need a membership for that tickets are readily available.

I don't see anything changing at the club whilst Levy runs it as a successful business rather than a successful football club

What a shame.

“United are still extremely terrible” would have shortened your post considerably.😂

The final in Women’s EURO - England - Spain today - who do you think will win?

Our 2 experts on our Sport channel here tipped 2-1 and 3-1 both to Spain
My thoughts before I listened to their ideas was pretty much the same.
The one who will keep the victory of Spain down is Englands Keeper, Hampton - she’s good.
Bonmati is back from sickness, and very hungry...

Spain is the obvious answer. But more interesting if England win. James will be fit for the final which will boost England's hopes

Hopefully it will be a good tough game just like it was in the world cup when both teams met in the final. England are the current Euro holders so will that be the extra they need knowing they will be defending the trophy of will it hinder them because of the expectation and pressure of being the holders and having to defend it.

It is a shame that none of the teams were good enough to see out their semi final and the final with both semi finals going to penalties and now the final. Yes they have all be very good games but still. I would rather see a game won in extra time than on penalties.

England win the penalty shoot out and what a shoot out it was!!!. England defend the trophy. Congratulations to England

Chloe Kelly did it for England in Euro 2022 and she has done it again in Euro 2025

Arsenal fans can be proud, both Arsenal women win it for England. Russo scores the equaliser and Kelly scores the winner in the penalty shoot out, obviously with the help of the rest of the team :)
