While I’m sure Arteta is painting this as a clash of the titans to get his players amped, I don’t give Liverpool much of a chance. We can’t score and we can’t defend. Should be a fairly easy Arsenal win I should think.

May the City draws continue. Funny how the narrative has changed. All of a sudden City aren't paying attention to the table anymore. Few weeks ago they declared their 'stamina' and 'experience'. Now Pep is very nonchalant.

Tomorrow's game won't be easy. Everyone wants to beat us now, which means teams suddenly decided to be Barcelona when they face us.

Fully expect the LFC players to miraculously turn up tomorrow.

But we're at home, and we don't get beat often at home so should be a good game.

At least with City and Villa drawing, the pressure eases slightly. So lets have it.

Basically a mirror match of Anfield except Liverpool are the ones sitting back and defending. They've also had the best chance.

The 1st goal will determine what happens. If Liverpool score first then Arsenal can only hope for a draw. If Arsenal score first then its probably game over

☝️

I'm glad i didn't invest my whole evening watching that.

Also i'm definitely over Gyokeres

...and i don't condone Martinelli's behaviour but i don't think its intentional based on history

Lewis Skelly is the weakest link.
Agreed, and this is something that I have thought for quite some time.

Mind you, I have yet to be convinced - at all - by Viktor Gyokeres.......

Apart from a point claimed, the only saving grace of last night's game is that we didn't concede at the back, although we did incur yet another injury to one of our defenders, with Hincapie hobbling off.

I deeply dislike Manchester City - and detest their ownership model (while reluctantly conceding that Pep Guardiola has excelled as their manager).

Even if I supported a team other than Arsenal, I would still detest Manchester City.

Their decision - and it is not as though they lack funds, monies, or access to bottomless financial resources - to refuse the (perfectly reasonable) request of cash-strapped Exeter City a greater share of the gate receipts from their forthcoming FA Cup clash with City - speaks volumes for their ungenerous, greedy, entitled and contemptuous attitude to less favoured opponents.
