Lewis Skelly, Jesus, Odegard and Kepa should have never started.
Well, for what it is worth, I have never had any faith in Myles Lewis-Skelly, he simply isn't good enough at that level, and never was.
To my mind, Kepa was a pretty poor buy, (another questionable arrival from Chelsea), as he is not at the level required, and his judgment - a key core skill in a goalie - is suspect; Manchester United have an excellent goalie - why was he not identified, scouted, pursued, purchased?
Then, there is Jesus (whom I like, and have always liked), but unfortunately, he has never been the same player since he suffered a dreadful injury when on international duty at the last World Cup, a situation that also applies to Odegaard, who, also, has never been the same player since his return from serious injury.
Strong rumours already circulating that Skelly and Odegard wants to leave so why put faith in them.
Not terribly surprising.
While I am not surprised at Lewis-Skelly, and wouldn't consider his departure a loss, Odegaard - who, when fit, can be excellent, displaying good judgment in midfield, and pretty good leadership skills - wishing to leave seems a little more ominous.
I liked Ben White when he wasn’t playing for England. He was awful last night.

But in the end no harm done apart from the fact that City might end up winning another trophy.
That is harm enough.
