Their recruitment strategy is truly bizarre. Hoover up all the young talent, loan most of it away, few players get regular first team football. It's moneyball on LSD.
In truth, I would have far preferred to see Chelsea struggle and suffer and be threatened with relegation (for all of the reasons already mentioned) than I am to see Spurs in difficulty (notwithstanding the fact that I am an Arsenal fan, and am therefore, by definition, supposed to have some sort of inherited hatred for them, which I entirely lack).
Re Leicester, while I am sorry to see them relegated - again - yet I feel that I should also draw attention to the alacrity with which the FA punished them with a deduction of six points (which certainly doomed them, or confirmed their doom), while Manchester City, facing 115 charges (no small number) re breaches of FFP, still inexplicably saunter on, curiously unscathed.
Mind you, I do harbour the unkind suspicion that the announcement of Pep Guardiola's planned departure may also be linked - along with burnout, fatigue, and sundry other human responses - to a fear that (belated) judgment might yet be forthcoming on those multiple charges.

The EPL is usually known from a Continental view as being very patient with managers.
Perhaps not so much in the latter years but I would say that's mostly confined to a few basket cases. EPL clubs in general have too much money to waste and it shows.

Agreed. Everton away could be a huge game for City and Brentford at home but equally as you said Arsenal must return to winning ways.

Managed to bag tickets for Liverpool vs Crystal Palace game.

Year Of The Invincibles is when I started supporting them. And everything that occurred afterwards has always been very painful.
I was a small child when I watched the FA Cup Final of 1971 (on a black and white TV; I remember Arsenal's pale shirts and dark shorts vividly, whereas Liverpool were a monochrome colour) and have been sadly and sorrowfully - and yes, occasionally joyfully, even ecstatically and not just with the Invincibles, when I ran the risk of complacency, but also the earlier Arsene Wenger Double winning team - smitten ever since.

I think the FA cup final featuring Arsenal about 9 years later was much more enjoyable!
