The 2025-2026 Football Thread

If Arsenal win tonight.

They will ruin my plans for Victory Parade for 25th May (i.e if we manage to win PL) by delaying it till after CL finals.
 
I think it could well go to penalties tonight between Arsenal and Atletico. Remember Atletico won the away game of their tie with Barcelona 2-0, they are used to playing in intimidating venues.
 
Personally I’m hoping for extra time and penalties.
A horrific list of injuries and basically an Arsenal win.

Then all the remaining first team rested for this weekends game against us. You don’t even need the win anymore. Please les us have the three points!

Unfortunately for West Ham, Arsenal can't count on Man City doing them any more favors, and I would not bet on the Gunner's winning out the season. They need every point they can get. I think this match is going to be The End for one of the contestants. Unless it's a draw, in which case it would be mutual destruction.

We just need one more win than Spurs. But they have hit form just as ours has disappeared.

In my opinion Xavi Simon getting injured was a blessing for them. As much as I hate Richarlison I think he can finish up front and score goals.

lol. It won’t hurt our GD. If it comes down to GD we are already going down.

Fair play. UCL final is massive after 2 decades. 👏 Full credit to Arteta and the team. As for the EPL I’ll reserve judgement till the West Ham game

Scoring first was crucial for Arsenal. If Athletico scored first it would've been dire.

Fair play to Saka and Gyokeres who made it horrible for Athleti defenders

MLS had another great game.

Griezmann and Alvarez just not enough for Athleti today.

Disappointed with Bayern tonight, look devoid of ideas. PSG have been very comfortable all night.

Looking like PSG vs Ars for the final. WOuld be boring if PSG won back to back UCL but it probably would be deserved.
