In general, we seem to have an excellent defence, an exceedingly good midfield (when they are not our injured), both of which are poorly served by a blunt, predictable, and toothless, attack.

I ask because we Germans associate with football the red ball I posted and the other thing is soccer.

All the Germans I know refer to it as football. But from the teams mentioned in the previous 85 pages it should be rather obvious which sport we are referring to?

Perhaps we all here watched too many American TV or series, I guess. Because as I said before the red ball is connected with "football" 🏈 while the other one is ⚽.

Ipswich booked their promotion ticket today. Millwall, Southampton, Middlesbrough, and Hull are in the playoffs, with Wrexham missing out after only managing a draw against Middlesbrough today.
The United/Liverpool derby tomorrow feels a bit anticlimactic, with low stakes for both teams other than regional pride. Both sides are missing a number of key players, as well.

Just watching MOTD. That WHU result was disastrous considering Arsenal are next.
On the flip side Spurs probably won't get anything from Villa or Leeds so who knows
Speaking of Arsenal, Lewis-Skelly breathed new life into their midfield, and Saka seems to be finding form.
And what do you know, play to Gyokeres's strenght and he'll score. Thats 21 goals in a his first season in an Arsenal shirt.

I wonder why it has taken Arteta so long to play Lewis-Skelly in HIS position today (well, yesterday, 2nd may). To add, Gyokeres was even more on it yesterday, not just because of his goals, but his movement and holdup play...

If Liverpool beat Man Utd today they may go third in the table, considering the awful run in the league they had earlier that wouldn’t be a bad result if the season ended there.

Liverpool looked well off it today, but United gifted them two absolute dumb goals early in the second half. That was the first serious error from Lammens I've seen all season.
