After yesterday’s draw .. I think both Spurs and West Ham will loose their next game.

It will all be decided on 24th May.

Spurs loosing to Everton and West Ham winning against Leeds.

And paddy power admin is a genius.

Unfortunately, it appears that Ben White is out for the rest of the season (and, most likely, the World Cup as well), with the injury he sustained in the game against West Ham last weekend.

With Jurrien Timber (whose injury record since he joined us has not inspired confidence) also still out (recovering from yet another injury), this does not augur well.

While I bear Arsenal no ill will, and would rather see them win a title than Man City any day, I don't know if I can handle the drama surrounding another Arsenal title challenge in the near future. 😉

A Gooner friend of mine has been tirelessly beating the 'all refs are conspiring against us and VAR is corrupt' drum loudly all season...and when they got that call against the Hammers he was mysteriously silent about the whole thing for days. Since then he has reappeared with a detailed argument (pieced together from the internet) for why it wasn't 'controversial' at all... Oh, the fickle nature of fandom. 🤣

Secretly I hope Arsenal win either the CL or League this year based on an ultra-sketchy VAR call. I'll hold that over his head forever.

Timber will be back for CL Final 😉

I was reading about that while watching their second leg match against Middlesbrough (Saints won 2-1 in extra time with a cross that accidently went in 😵).

I don't think it's going to stop Southampton's promotion bid. The leagues and FA are always cowardly about punishments, and this would be a new, precedent-setting punishment...which, logically, should be harsh to deter future spying. But it won't be.

It needs to be dealt harshly or else it will happen again.

For once I'm keeping an eye on the Scottish Premier League, and a few minutes before the end of the penultimate round, with Hearts in the lead in their match, Motherwell have equalized against Celtic, giving Hearts a 3 point lead until the series final this weekend, and the (potentially) most exiting game in Scotland for quite a while: Celtic vs Hearts.

Wonder if it's at all possible - within reason - to view this live here in Norway...?

Edit: Spoke too soon, Celtic has gotten a penalty... and they scored, and Hearts only have a single point in hand... [Insert appropriate swear words here.]

Looks like City will be closing the gap. Currently 2-0 up against Palace. Makes it more interesting for the neutral (me).
Honestly, I expected nothing less. I even expected more goals, just to mess with the whole goal difference, "just in case". UGH!

I cannot stand City, with a passion. Alas, we simply need to win our remaining two matches to quiet the bloody noise...

...to add, we only have THREE finals to bloody play.

We simply need Arteta to play his best formations, best available players, and they need to just bring it for three straight games. Period!

If we secure a win against Burnley on Monday, which is highly likely, we’ll clinch the Premier League title on Tuesday night. City will drop points against Bournemouth.

Agreed, I also think it’s likely City will drop points against Bournemouth, who are trying to hold onto that Europa League place.
