Should've held out for the Liverpool job me thinks. But i'm guessing he was told Slot would be staying.

A bit hypocritical considering he's been awful this season.
Klopp isn't coming back and the players (and fans) need to get over it
They won the title last season under the same manager so i fail to see how he's to blame personally
But its the modern game and players effectively get away with murder.

Agree completely.
Normally, I tend to side with referees, - they get enough abuse from fans and footballers, after all - but this decision - that the handball was "accidental" - is baffling. A handball, irrespective of whether accidental or not, is still a handball.

Pretty long odds though. If we lose today (currently 3-1) Spurs just need 1 point from two games and we must beat Leeds. I’d not take those odds.

But he made the point, is the style of football played, doesn't suit his style, and with Trent gone, the supply disappeared. I am not a Liverpool fan, but even I concede that to him.
Slot admitted he didn't change much, as they were playing a style that was winning them games. At the end of the season, a lot left, and new players arrived, and quite a few were injured. Keep up...

Well, yes; but, is there any onus on him, or degree of responsibility on him to actually attempt to adapt to changing circumstances?
Even Haaland has adapted - has had to adapt - his style this season - and the wretch is still successfully scoring dozens and dozens of goals.

And yet others failed to deliver, and this is on them, not the manager.
Commiserations, but it is not all over until the last whistle has been blown in the last game of the season.
I will add that I think that the tragic death of Diogo Jota may have contributed to this malaise, and not just because he was an excellent footballer; there is nothing like a sudden - and tragic - death (especially in what may have seemed, until then, to have been a gilded life) to make one take stock and possibly to question one's previous priorities.
