You're seriously getting both pro sizes? Not even Apple would agree
When iPad mini first came out, and someone asked Tim Cook which size to get, didn't he suggest to get both? I'm sure he'd be happy if we all bought all three iPad sizes. :D
Lol, if the Mini 3 was released with Air 2 specs, I'd probably have one already. :p

I'm not crazy about the size and weight of the Pro 12.9 plus right now, iOS and most apps are not there yet so not planning on getting one in the near future. However, there are times when I'm working on Excel on my 9.7" iPads that I do think it might be nice to have a bigger screen. For the most part though, the "Goldilocks" 9.7" form factor suits my usage better.

Well, sitting here in front of my tv, half watching the last season of game of thrones while working on a document on my 12.9 iPP. I'm definitely in the large is good camp. And if Apple ever made the Apple Watch compatible with the iPad, I'd love to get a mini and ditch my iPhone. I seriously doubt I'll ever go back to 9.7, it's become the in between size that doesn't fit any of my use cases. But I did love the 9.7 until the 12.9 came along, and I can see why for many people it's still the perfect size.

9.7' for me.

I have a 15'' MBP, 50' TV in my living room and an iphone 6.

I need portability over louder speakers and screen real estate.

If I'm going to watch GOT or a movie, it'll be on the TV or the MBP over any iPad. If I'm on the go and want to watch something, I'll usually be cramped for space which is where the 9.7' might help me out more than the 12.9.

If I didn't have the MBP, I'd probably get a MBP. If that wasn't the case, I'd go for the 12.9'. I think portability is a huge factor and for me, the 12.9 does not suffice. Upright on a desk, its a beautiful experience though. however, I think in that case, a MBP would kill it.

I'm a bit of an apple fanboy and have fell in love with full screen apps. Very rarely will I split screen, and when I do its more a work around. The 12.9 does split screen better.. but then again, if I need to use 2 apps at once for raw horse power, will I be using my theoretical 12.9'' iPad or just get out the macbook?
