Apple Watch / Classic Buckle / 42mm
Ordered: 3:13a (est)
Confirmed: 3:14a (est)
Via: Apple Store Website
Delivers: 4/24-5/8

Its probably becasue you didnt have your default information saved in apple pay. Settings > Passbook & Apple Pay > "Transaction Defaults"

ya it didn't have default. but it was checked.. weird. oh well I still made the first batch 4/24-5/8... shipments are June now.. CRAZY!

Order placed in app... SS with black sport band + apple care.

Ugh... in the app it says delivers 4/24-5/8...

Delivery range is the first and I would imagine a range was given rather that a date because Apple is desperately working to meet the estimated range.

I ordered the same model as yours and got the same range. Luckily I'm in no rush even if it's late. We're just going to have to deal with early adopter bugs anyway. :)

I just want the watch now... at this point, paying 200 extra for the SS was worth more than the wait of june shipment.

Did anyone order extra bands with there orders. I just placed an order for the 42mm white sport band. It says ships in May, which is ok but was wondering what was stock like at 3:01? Was it always so late?

I ordered mine at 1:06 MT due to having to input a different credit card. I was going to do that before hand, but by the time I had a chance the Apple Store closed down. When I first looked in my favorites on the app the 42 mm Space Gray and black sport was showing 4/24 to 5/8 ship. Then I thought maybe I wanted the 38 mm, so I switched to that and then I decided on the 42 again. By the time I did all that it was May 13 - 27th. I got the confirmation email at 1:07 AM MT. I was going to be prepared and failed.

Bailed on the pre-order once the Space Grey Sport was backlogged to mid to late May and no in-store pickup. I have problems with deliveries, especially from UPS.

I can wait until I can get one in a store (June or July?) and by then Apple should work out the OS/pairing/bluetooth kinks and the apps should also be more fully formed

I prepared everything for quick response but then was so damn foggy at 3AM Eastern that I stumbled through the whole process and probably blew early delivery, finally did the app on my iPhone 6 plus at 3:27.

Oh well, at least I got May 13-27 and not June.

when Pre-ordering do apple charge card right away or is it when the product is ship? sorry for dumb question i normally wait in line on launch day

My understanding is they charge when it's about to ship, or when it ships.

I'm in a tough spot here to because everything comes out of my bank account. My concern was having the funds for the watch now but when it ships, it denies. I called an Apple Rep and they told me if I called back and told them to go ahead and process my payment, they can do that right away. I'm doing that first thing tomorrow just to clarify that my watch is already paid for and won't have any problems receiving my item.

My Amex was charged right away.... My Amex is my main ApplePay and Apple card. Did everything on the phone and a second after I used the Touch ID to charge I got a notification from Amex that there was a new charge from Apple.

Now do keep in mind that charge is pending, but it did take away from my available credit. I can only assume if using a Visa Check Card (or similar) that the funds would be in pending status.

After reading your reply, I looked into my bank account, and I don't see any charge. I thought there was a hold charge of usually a $1. Maybe it varies then. When I ordered my iPhone 5S this way through Apple, I didn't have the funds at the time. When it shipped is when it charged. I knew that if I had kept money in there though at all times concerning the charge, I wouldn't have a problem.

Obviously that was then, and this is now. I'm hoping that I can go to the bank tomorrow, deposit the money, call them, and make sure my payment is processed. I'd rather not let it slip on a decline and have to wait until August to get it. If it came back denied, I'm sure tomorrow once the money is in there I can get them to retry and I'd be OK. On top of all of that, it's a bank account, so I'm sure I'd have to have an approval. I'd have to tell them to UP my limit until the charge went through I'm guessing.

who used :apple: pay to process their order? I used it and it was annoying that it kept asking me for address and email address while it was already clearly there. arghh, held me extra 2-3 mins.

Same here on the iPad

somebody mentioned earlier that this is probably because it's our first time to use it and we didn't have any "default".. but my problem is, it was already preselected, shouldn't they make that already a default and not add the same one to continue? it was redundant and annoying.

The Apple Watch order thread... FINALLY!

Random bump and a story: when I got to work on Friday (after the wild late night ordering watches, heh), I blearily found an overdue to-do list item: "Don't forget to use ebates for Apple Watch".

Yeaaaah, had I screwed around with that rather than insta-refreshing the Apple Store app, my delivery date would be July.
