thx :) i just can't stand the waiting anymore. i even have cleaned up my itunes library and added all the covers that weren't added automatically to be prepared :D

Where I work we have been advising customers to come back in on Friday!!! ;)

I have also had mucho fun over the past week winding up apple employees, due to the fact that

they are not allowed to talk/speculate/mention anything about any rumours/speculation/hearsay about anything to do with any possible announcement about a possible new ipod which, may or may not be, forthcoming at said possible announcement

(this was when I asked them yesterday)

I'm thinking that the one more thing will be that all the new interface features of the new iPods will be available on the iPhone today as well. Well, one part of the "one more thing".
 
I'm thinking "The Beat goes on" means Jobs is gonna retire after introducing the new ipods.
 
My bet are.

IPOD with the same multi-touch type screen as the :apple: iPhone and WiFi.


maybe the macbook pro 17" LED ? lol fingers crossed. :eek:
 
Please have wifi! Ive been waiting soo long. (Because then I can hack it and pur safari on it... if it doesnt have it on there already!)
 
Leopard comes out in October, according to Apple's site.

Besides, this'll be an iPod only event for sure... two massive revolutionary announcements in one day would just steal each others' thunder and leave nothing exciting to talk about next month :)
 
Question

Maybe this has been discussed, but do you think that if the new iPods indeed use a different OS, which I'm thinking is probable, it will remove the ability to use the device in disk mode? If they have a huge capacity but remove the ability to use it as an external I'll be very sad. I use my 4G iPod for moving large files around all the time.
