If anybody knows a lawyer that wants to start a class action lawsuit I would be in. We can sue him and his advertisers/sponsors.

You have no idea what a class action lawsuit is? He gets sued for mental anguish, time spent, misinformation, and whatever else a lawyer can think of. Subway had to change and pay money because they removed 25% of their sandwiches. When you go online and make claims about a product and it cause this type of ruckus then you are liable. This is America

The bend guy's an F-wad, but please. No more dumbazzzz lawsuits about trivial BS are needed in this country.

Except that its not bent easily. It takes quite a good bit of effort to do it.

"mental anguish"...over a freaking YouTube video of a cell phone?

You can't just sue anyone for anything you want. You have to have standing, first of all, i.e., you have to have been personally and directly affected. Could Apple find some reason to sue him? I'm sure their lawyers could think of something. Highly doubtful they would and even more doubtful the case would go anywhere.

not when you hit the weak spot as human hands are capable of. Something machines don't or can't account for as they have no tactile feedback.

If you tried to sue Bendguy, the case would be tossed quicker than a hot potato.

You have no ability to prove damages caused to you buy his video being fake. Further, he did not sell you anything at any point in time, his video is not directed at you personally, and he didn't bend your device. Thus you have no standing to even file suit.

Then don't hit the weak spot. Anyone who wants to purposely bend a smartphone, regardless of brand, can do it. What's next in this parade of stupidity? "I purposely ran over my iPhone with a car and it didn't survive, therefore it is defective"?

I just watched a video of a guy bend an iPhone while it was in a spigen case. Shall he be sued too?

he should see the psy for his strange obsession,i think Bender got the same problem and i think he found a job in a company of iron bending, where he found a beautiful robot and falling in love.

I'm sure thats what apple said in testing

or they totally missed it by using complicated machines and not a monkey (mans hands)

Have you read the posts in this forum or online? People are freaking out.

The point is, taking a phone between your two hands and forcibly pressing on it until it bends is not "standard operating procedure" for a phone. Its not Apple's job to test for stupidity.

Because they didn't test the phone in peoples' hands.

Stop selling that nonsense here. No one is buying it. The bottom line remains the same. Trying to destroy the phone doesn't count.

If someone makes a fake video claiming to be a smartphone professional that a phone bends easily and causes people to return them then he can be held liable. The same exact scenario plays out all over the world. When Skechers said their weird shape shoes would help get you into shape was sued, people jumped on who never used the shoes. There are journalistic laws to prevent this type of stuff. Major news outlets play his video so that they don't have to be lumped into it. They know the consequences. If I guy can break into a house and sue the owner for leaving toys on the ground causing him to hurt himself and when then anything is possible.

no theyre not. They're just on the internet. Thats what its like. ;)

Oddly enough, lots of people are kind of freaking out, mainly due to the rediculous statements of others who insist that iPhones are "easily bendable" and claim that "Apple didn't test them correctly." Wonder who's doing that??
