Just got a text from someone at home saying the package arrived!
Happpppy, but I have 4 more hours until I am home.
My tracking didn't update until it was delivered.

Got my phone a few hours ago,
Wen to the apple store got a nano sim free.. Didnt even have to show my invoice.
Couldnt activate it in store it kept timing out.
Went to fido Kiosk, the guy did it there no problems...
It showed no service for the past hour and half... But working fine now!
Woo!
Only issue is the phone has a much warming colour than my older phones. Not distracting unless I put them side by side so no worries there.
Oh and I cant download anything form the appstore. The install button stops working after 2 apps until I reboot the phone.

Awesome! Have a very nice black paperweight. Well, at least as far as using cell services goes... Telus website is down, customer support can't do anything, said to try back in a couple hours.

Lol, I'm hating all the Rogers (all carriers?) stores saying they only have enough nano sims for their preorders....

anyways, I've read countless tales online of people just cutting their micro sims and regular sims to fit. Nano sim is 15% thinner but SANDING YOUR CUT SIM IS NOT A REQUIREMENT TO WORK IN YOUR IPHONE5!!!

im in downtown calgary also and have not received mine yet.WTH!! I am in DT calgary as well...but nothing from UPS still on Vehicle for delivery

To the people who cut their sims. Did you need to sand the back down? And it won't work with LTE right?
I did. I tried every store I could think of in Victoria and all said "no we're only giving them with new activations".
It might be worth to guess that business addresses (like mine Toronto downtown) receive theirs before residential addresses since most businesses are only open until 4-5pm and residential deliveries are possible until 8pm.
So if you are sitting at home reading this, don't fret, there is still hope!

Picked up my preorder iPhone 5 from Future Shop this morning...but the SIM doesn't seem to want to register to Rogers? I phoned their support line and it just says (automated system) that the information can be transferred to my new Nano-SIM online, but they don't specify where...and I can't find it on the website. Any ideas? Right now it just says "No Service" and I really need my phone!
Where were you in Victoria? Cause I know when I get my phone, I'll be heading down to victoria in finding a nano sim.
