To get the 6GB Data plan, i`d have to renegotiate my plan and extend my contract.

In terms of data, all I do on the phone is good amount of browsing and app use, 0 streaming whatsoever- both audio and video i completely avoid. I also don`t tether. and of course good amount of emails.

Currently I have a 1GB Data allowance.

My plan is 500 anytime, Unlimited Evening Weekend 5PM, Unlimited Network Calling, Unlimited Incoming, 1000 Canada Wide-LD, 1GB Data, Enhanced Voicemail, Caller ID+Name Display, and lastly unlimited SMS+MMS for 50.00+GRRF (3.01)

Worth trying to renegotiate and switch to a voice+data or will I not even need that extra data?

I never plan to stream on 3G FYI.

Update: Speaking to retentions, they offered to split the voice and data and switch it to 6gb Tomorrow for an extra 5 a month.

That was Rogers story above! I am with Bell. I guess also depends on what Agent you speak to. Then after finishing the account set up with me, why would he give me correct prices that were announced today that nobody knew before. He told me once I am at bellworld Friday morning I have to choose the model, 16Gb or 32Gb and pay on spot.

Log into your account, you should already see your new "Iphone 4" listed..

i knew the pricing on 24th from bell....they tell you when you call them, and THEY DO NOT PLACE ORDERS until 30th.

good luck in hell...i mean bell.
 
I'm in Atlantic Canada and the Rogers store near me opens at 8:00 so I will have the iP4 in my hot hands and activated before the activation system becomes overloaded. This is assuming that the upgrade process goes smoothly.

last upgraded 2 years ago and they quote me $649/$749. But im going with what nasa25 said and gonna assume its another one of rogers finest work!!:rolleyes:
 
I just dont want to extend my contract tonight and then find out tmr the phones gonna cost me 650$. And then be stuck with a data plan and using like a motorola phone currently.. cause I sold my 3G..

The Upgrade Tool isn't working properly. Just got off the phone with Rogers, and she's eligible for upgrade discount pricing.

Don't trust the Upgrade Tool.

ic , i think prospect st rogers plus opens at 8, im going to head there at 7-7:30, my guess is alot of people wont be there.

i waited in line for 2 hours with 3 guys for ipad launch...it was embarrassing...they guys at futureshop were embarrassed for us too...haha

Lol! Thats the brand new one that opened across from TD right where the old liqour store was?

I gotta see, this entire price now just worries me as i dont want to commit and then have to pay 650$...
